Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Tonights tackle that smashed Brockies leg in the NQ game was a disgrace and the ref gives only a yellow.

Straight red for sure.

See tackles like that every weekend around the world - often applauded.

I don't get to watch much overseas football, but I don't think I've ever seen a tackle like that in the HAL go without a caution, not that I can remember anyway.  From the side yeah, but not from front on. There really was no purpose for the left foot coming over the ball - that foot barely got a touch on the ball, which doesn't help his case much.

I have. But I do watch every HAL game. Seen Musc**t and Moore get away with clearly worse.

Zullo, late, full speed, from behind and doesn't get anywhere near the ball...

Could not have complained if he was sent.

i warned you all 3 weeks ago we would continue to play like this. but no, you wouldnt listen. you maintained the delirious positive atitutude that players would spontaniously improve and things would look up and we would go on and lift in the next game, and the game after that to get a win.. well, you have seen the truth.
so now, unfortunately, and admist anything that you reply, its time for... "I told you so".
what a waste of time. once again im glad i didnt go tonight.

Hey wankstain

Want me to post your PM to me up here for all to see?

Will gladly buy you a ticket to the scum game so you can say it to my face...........

do you want a tissue or do you need the whole box?
Troll, wanker or a combination of both?
it doesnt matter what you say.. understand the thought process and opinion properly. stupid comebacks at me (or the irrelevant hacks of a sign in word) wont ever, ever make up for the fact that we are still playing terrible football, thats the realistic view that im bringing.
we are still relying on has been's and never will be's and now resorting to callis tackles to geer up the crowd a bit to hide the fact that we're still continuously playing like shit.
where is any improvement for the future going to come from?
bogan opinions need not apply.

do it. it doesnt matter in any shape or form what you say or do.
the opinion will always be there. the more we lose, the more it grows.
and it shows in lots of other posts, not just mine.
the number of tickets you'll be shouting will be too many, big man.
frankly im not surprised that your trying to shout me to a game. lol.

Errrrmmmm... marinerheartfailure,

On the "realistic view you are bringing"
I'm pretty sure no one has a problem with you expressing your opinion that we're not playing well... lol... its not like its been any great bloody revelation. But saying we are shit is just step one... try offering constructive opinions and debate on what the problems are, backed by informed and supportive evidence and you might find your posts receive more respect on here...

Whereas say "I'm not turning up to support and I'm glad I didn't go again because we're so shit? That literally goes against the grain of any true supporter world wide, because the reality of football is that sometime you will go through shit spells, and if everyone bailed whenever there club did, they would very shortly no longer have a club at all.

And thats why your getting a well deserved bollocking...
Not because your some brave realist. Sorry to burst your bubble...
::)

Believe it or not, many people actually believe its not just about getting to see a win for there 20, they actually want to give there support, especially when there team is against the ropes - and walking out on someone when the chips are down, will never get you very much respect.

fair enough. great post.
im sick of the disappointments though.
especially when quotes from the mariners and coach week in, week out, re-assure everyone that we'll play better and we will get that win next week, and we clearly never do. that's giving false hope and just setting up bigger disappointments for everybody, every week.

What do you want him to say? "Well I think we're shite and we're gonna definitely lose this week."

i think most of us are, but you know what!!!! that "MOST" of us will still turn up in two weeks?
i will be, even though it took almost 3 hours by train to get home, if anything ill be there as i anticipate a good bit of "crowd interaction" with the squadron.

i tink Mariner heart, do as your name suggests, wack on a pair, have a cup of concrete, whatever and suck it up and support the club with that "marinerheart"
