Seems to be acres of space between Stella and the defensive mids, Roux is clueless against these guys, he runs out of options and passes it all the way back and that even cost us a goal. Fab not playing great, qimpressed with Fletcher's hold up play.

Does anyone have a clip Monty's card. From where i was sitting it was ridiculous, but the general consensus online seems to be that it was right, so maybe it was just too quick for me or something.
Htf was Castelen not carded either? Literally hung off Garcia right after the latter came on, then actually slipped and grabbed for a better grip and no card! ?

Roux back pass terrible.
Monty gone for one or two weeks. From the far side of the pitch it was hard to see, but I knew it was a red from that distance.
Not looking good.

As for the ticketing I was on about earlier it seems to be totally disorganised.
I asked if I could sit there and was told no, then yes.
Stadium staff don't know what the hell they're doing.
I've spoken to the Mariners at the game but will be sending an email on Monday.

Agree with what you're saying. I thought the ref was harsh on us with the cards compared to the other lot.
That said I thought he was going to be a bit lenient with those two Austin challenges earlier in the game.
A couple of times their players went down in the box with no card. Earlier in the season that was a yellow for Fitzy.

All right then. The fat lady may not be singing but she's certainly warming up in the wings.

After the first 20 minutes or so of watching us run around like headless chooks I thought we'd lose by more than we did.
With Monty gone, unless we can overturn it, I really can't see us winning a game.

After watching last night Brisbane v Adelaide I thought perhaps last weeks result was that bad. But our performance in the first half tonight was at all inspiring.

Should be noted that poor ball out by izzo led to the immediate counter by Wanderers that Neil initially snuffed out well, only to then brain snap and fail to clear.

Theres almost nothing new to see here in truth. Young players making too many mistakes that sooner or later cost games. Plus one senior player of course. Monty didnt need to dive in like that.

Fletcher looks no more impressive than Bingham from what I saw. Maybe a better touch but he had some poor ones too.

The one thing new to see is Louis. And it was a treat. Two beautiful balls. And some good interplay and possession. He's the goods. And will be better served when our two best attackers arent already running out of legs.

Other thoughts... Liam rose did well again. Austin did great to get to Garcias ball and get it across to Fab for our goal. Prefer Bray. Prefer j rose st LB. (worried about him not being in the squad today) Vidosic is still a spineless cheat. popovics team have an all about winning mentality Where diving, whining, faking injury etc are all normalised. Hate it. Bay 16 did well. Amazing to even hear you at all with all those westies singing. Oh and why no call and response today? Pleae dont tell me we're pandering to those f**kers? Stella looked ok in an otherwise very dismal first half. We will be a work in progress for awhile. Be amazing if we can keep Garcia for next season aswell.
