TW in his first role scouted and sourced ... Musty, Ryan, Sainsbury, Berine, Carcears, in addition he was one who said weeMac was a good signing coming out of the Celtic youth etc.... To me he has an eye for young talent without equal in the league... and when he makes a mistake he quickly releases the player ...

Now lets be honest here Flecther made overseas youth teams and academies and an Australian call up... Then from all accounts was badly hurt ... For me this is weeMac II combined with that talent recognising ability ... if I am right and lets hope I am and its not the JD this is our next Socceroo ... OK OK huge call without seeing him play ... but his history is of a very determined talented kid who got badly hurt ... and a very astute person when it comes to talent...

Like Austin in some ways but better because TW always said Austin needs to be shown how to play properly this kid already knows.

Weemac was Lawries scottish connections i think. Musti was Arnie wait actually think it was still Lawrie out of the AIS wasnt it? On others Lawrie had strong club connections in Wsyd area and I'm not sure on how much consultation there is between senior and youth coach - but suspect he played a role too.

Not trying to talk down TW's excellent work as a youth coach - but not sure he would have been the linch pin behind that generation of recruitment.

Think you may be right but certainly TW was around for many of them... and his talent identification when compared to Moss ... well say no more ..

Adelaide game I saw the last 20 mins.....only thing of note was that Stella played well. I can't offer my opinions on games I haven't seen.

..Crazy game.
Our finishing and work on the break was outstanding.
Or battling was great.
Our "anywhere will do" defending was interesting.
Victory's 2nd goal was stupendous football.

Victory butchered so many chances so we were lucky really.

Tinker belle......couple of great saves. Looks like a real prospect.
Roux....cost us the game with his signature comical defending of the 3rd goal but that error aside, had a reasonable game.
Rose....good game.
Posco.....very good. I'm really starting to like this kid.
Harry....great goal and overall a good game.
Monty....great game
Neill......pretty good game. Looks much better in the midfield than in defence.
Austin......brilliant game.
McGing....not bad.
Fab.......top game, lovely assist.
