ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Welcome to ccmfans.net kab08 and modge!

kab08: I haven't heard anything personally, hopefully one of our Sydney residing CCM fans will let you know if anything is planned

modge: I just moved your post here as there already is a thread going for the Grand Final. I hope you're right about the result, but I think there will be more goals!

2-1 win to the mariners.
We have lost both GF in the 60-70 min period if we can survive that then we will win.

I just found out that Matty "I hate the Mariners" Breeze got the job as ref. We'll be down to 10 men after 5 mins!

Apparently there will be a 'farewell' to the team on Saturday morning. I haven't heard it anywhere else yet but this is from the Australian Football facebook site:

"Mariners fans, get along to Gosford Waterfront, opposite Bluetongue Stadium on Saturday at 9:00am to send your boys off in style. Please avoid parking under the bridge as the team will need complete access. StarFM and Yellow Army will be on hand to help out. Line the grass and the bridge and make plenty of noise as the bus leaves at 9:15!":eek:verhead:

I hope this is the last game that the name nic 'disco' and ccm are connected. Now for a replacement and the completed part of the jigsaw. Mouth watering stuff.

I reckon Sainsbury, Baird and Lewis/Perez to be out of that squad.

I'm ready to tackle the roar without Perez, Amini may just elevate himself into Mariners folklore with a MOM

Ah, well done Scoop Adz!
:ashamed:

I've been out all day starting to pack my (younger) daughter's stuff to move her to Camden area where she now teaches! Good daddy! I'll make sure she packs her Mariners gear for school events - Mariners before West Sydney FC!!!

I just went straight to the forum to check .. silly me.

My amends:

Thanks adz

I have created a facebook event call "A-League Grand Final season 6".
Everyone is welcome. Just search it I guess.
It will be held at Cheers bar, on George St near the intersection with Liverpool St. I looked it up and the final will be played live there, most probably on their big screen, if not on one of the numerous other relatively big screens they have. To find me look for the guy in the Mariners jersey.

Hope I'm not the only Mariners fan in there but I doubt there will be any Brisbane supporters so it's not going to be bad. Not like all the times i have walked through the city in full yellow and blue gear after a Sydney - CCM game :eek:verhead:
But I wont be the only one cheering when we win cause I promised all my mates free beer if they support us for one night :p

Sainsbury will be on the bench, it would be silly to go into a grand final with no defensive cover espcially now that we can have 5 on the bench instead of 4. If Perez is fit I have a feeling they will drop berine off the bench But if perez Isn't fit bernie will be on the bench.

Yeah I've seen Nik deposit a penalty into the middle of Brisbane Water... not sure if he has taken any after that?
He took three or four last season and got them all.

I would be very happy to have Bernie & Hutch taking penalties. My tongue-in-cheek comment about Nik was brought on by Matty & Kwas penalty-taking form.
