Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

WSW make a worse challenge, commentators are silent. Of course.
that was a terrible challenge - very, very late. Should have been a card.
Referee is showing he doesn't have the foggiest idea what's happening on the pitch.
Poor Izzo, twice in 2 weeks - and when he copped the ball to the face last week it was from an offside that the AR missed.
he lines up a head butt and misses . than collects him because he's over extended .
must be a report to the FFA

I have yet to see it. Watched first 10 and liked the look of Posco and Galloway. Was a bit annoyed by McGing but then had to go out.
I've taped it.
Interested to hear any reviews and player ratings (thanks already Big Al).

mcging had a good game , posco was outstanding

How long has it been? 4 years?

Defence is vastly improved. First half we were listless, dominated in possession and field position and clearly in trouble - largely because they dominated us in the mids - yet critically we weathered it and kept ourselves in the game.

Then second half very different. kept possession a lot better and were more positive - this combined with Wanderers tiring and the excellent subs of Nichols - best on park till he was subbed - and Antonis - the player interlinking with Nichols the most powerfully.

We had some luck. Pen could have been ignored. Santalab should have had two in close succession. But... I thought in the end we deserved our win against a very solid WSW away. That's pretty f**king great.

Well in team. Huge kudos to Okon.

In Paolo we trust.

That's why I reckon Monty copped the card in this one, because of the NJ match in 2 weeks. Good decision on his party, if so. MV will be a tough one next week - realistically MV should win that one, but that's okay.
Hey, wait - the derby might actually be an interesting match for once!!

I genuinely would not be surprised if Roy get suspended for this
EDIT: Just to be clear (the several other occasions where I said 'nothing in it' I guess weren't clear enough), I'm not saying he should get suspended - just that the MRP are so full of shit that I wouldn't be surprised.
Then we will respond with Santas little nibble at Izzo and Clisby's face slap.
Nothing to see

I thought our 1st half performance showed a growing tactical maturity. We wasted time, we niggled and we sat deep and narrow.

That forced WSW to try and go around us and they are so slow that we never had to lose our shape. On the couple of times that they got through Izzo was there to do his job.

Good away tactics.

It`s a great win under trying circumstances.
Spotless isn`t the nicest ground to play on, even worse to watch from.
Full marks though to Paul Okon.
His unwavering belief in the players he has, is rubbing off onto the players & they are believing in themselves.
I can see the nucleus of this side will go on to great things.
They have been through the hard yards, had s..t thrown at them, been written off by FOX & other supporters & yet they still believe.
It`s remarkable when you consider the bad luck (refereeing) that we have had.
So many players would have given up, these boys have gotten stronger.
Credit too must also go to Monty, he is gradually creeping up to the status of "the greatest ever Mariner".
It will be a sad day when he plays his last game for us.

Well I am quite happy this evening,
I have a football team, some of us have seen it coming, others have just continued with their diatribe.
Please give these young guys a chance. They will not disappoint.
Every Team in the A League are now looking our way.

Well guess what 2017 may be out of our reach.
But I am confident of top 4 next year (keeping this team together)

Sorry if I seem confident, it's just I am now seeing the rainbow through all of those clouds.
