I think we will surprise. Mooy is a big loss for them also.

What I'd like to see is 442. But I think I won't, so instead I'll hope to see Weemac right, Fitz left, and Duke upfront.
The rest as usual - though I do rate Anderson and would like to see him back - but Seip has been pretty decent.

Nothing wrong with our defence as people suggest. It's giving the ball away stupidly in transition and when under pressure that is murdering our defence.
When we are set and they try to play through us, they rarely succeed.

Be a great game to win. Equal 2nd on the table. Awesome for the teams confidence and we could do with the up.
FIRE UP PEOPLE!! No one should ever take CCM lightly.

We are hard to beat and if we can control the middle of the park a lot better then we can at least get a draw.
If the drive bys underestimate us we might sneak a win

Also, after 20000 or so schooners, I can admit, I'm expecting us to get absolutely fisted in this one.

I'm not exactly expecting a win, but as previously mentioned, it's not like ANY of the teams in the league are the, relatively, power houses that they were last year... We've been talking about how unlikely it is that anyone'll catch brisbane, but at this point, they're 5 points clear of second, not exactly an insurmountable lead... If we DO win tonight, they'll be five points clear of both us and WSW, both of us have two Brisbane games to go I think...
Anyway, WSW again, haven't exactly been that respect-inducing proposition that they were last year... If we keep letting Reddy kick the ball up their end whenever he gets to it, because he can though, they might be...
I expect this to be a n uglier version of the first game last year.... Perhaps with a winning team in there... Hoping that it'll be us, with a bit of luck I think we can develop as an unexpected bogie team for WSW as well, so let's see... But I wouldn't expect an actual "reaming"... I think that sort of result is more likely to come from a team playing like Adelaide this year than it is coming from WSW (knock-on-wood).

Unavailable: 22. Tom SLATER (back 2 weeks), 23. Adam KWASNIK (knee indefinite)
When did Kwas's knee happen? Indefinate doesnt sound too promising! Does that make room for Bernie though?

I thousand bloody years ago. I think it was towards the end of 2011/12 or early 2012/13.

Flores should have scored.
Where is the defence we had last year? Oh yeah, coaching the youth team...

Plenty of two goal leads have been squandered over the years. COYY!

Wanderers up 2-0 at half-time, though lucky chance for Hersi, then poor defending for Juric. We have had chances.

Dunno about the Juric one, I think it's just one of those things, two out of three times, those attempts fall flat on their backs.

Glad to see Reddy alternating between hoofing it and passing it out some more, but we still really seem to be missing a bit of the will to go forward again, see WAY too many situations where where someone like Flores or WeeMac is stuck without anyone to play to.
While I'm on Flores, wtf is with this "get-it-to-Marcos" approach? Several times now, he's been surrounded by WSW players and, for some reason, the rest of the team STILL insist on trying to pass it to him... Hardly surprising that that eventuates in a handover...
Looking MUCH better in spells, then suddenly regressing briefly again ... Rinse-lather-repeat.

Yeah, tbf I'm not sure I think he should be blamed for not scoring there, it was just as much excellent defending... That guy with the hats that played a couple of games for us last year - between cards - did a number of those same saves to keep us in games last year.

we are creating some decent chances, this team is a little frustrating to watch this season

Yeah, I'm not too stressed about Seip tbh... Would really like to see Duke for Macca though... Afraid it'll be Duke for Flores in stead though :(

WTF has happened to the balance of the boys this season? It feels like they stumble over the ball whenever it lands at their feet :(

Thinks about the match... heaps of luck with their first goal off two of our players but well taken.... cleared off the line by them...

What I saw tonight was our best game in a while and that scared me... little off the ball movement ... constantly losing the ball when going forward ... and our two D Mids what can you say except they wee totally played off the park...

It has been a long time since I have seen so little off the ball movement ... maybe its Flores who knows but we are standing like still or slow jogs.... why Duke is not up front and Caceres does not start ...

As I see it we have slipped to almost SFC level... and will be fighting to stay in the top six...
