ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I think we will be back to the same form we had against Sydney FC. With WeeMac back I think it will be a pretty even game. We will switch back to a more possession based game

We just need to sort out some of our mistakes at the back. Hopefully Hutch will have his mind on the game and not on his new baby or we just bring in Caceares.

I think Fitzy needs to start. Duke looked ok when he came on but he needs to start up front. Not out wide. Simon needs to spend some time out of the team. He's just not up to it right now. I'd like Hutch to start this one on the bench.

Reddy
Roux - Sains - Griffiths - Rose
Monty - Caceras
Weemac - Flores - Fitzy
Duke

Bench: Sterj, Hutch, McBreen, Seip, Pasfield

Any one have some info on how that young #10 is going in the yoof?

That would be a great team for WSW. I don't think Moss has the guts to try it sadly.

What concerns me is that we're now 11 games into the season and only 6 players who you can write on the team sheet without thinking.
Reddy
Roux
Sains
Rose
Monty
Weemac

The rest is all up in the air. Usually we have 8-9 players as definites by now. Hopefully a 2-1 win though

I feel ya. EVERY other team has had to sell key players or hot products because the financial gains outweigh the cost of keeping him and actually challenging for a trophy.

Flores is on that list
So is Duke
They haven't been playing the best but they should be definite starters. McBreen & Flores should not be on the park at the same time IMO. McBreen as a forward doesn't gel with Flores as yet & may not. If we played 2 forwards with Flores behind then I would have him start but until then we have one too many average forwards.

IMO Fitzy is on that list too

No Macbreen either?

I just don't think he fits in with Flores in the team & Flores gets my vote ahead of him. Duke & Flores showed signs of an understanding & I think they are the 2 we need up front with Weemac & Fitzy in support. When Weemac leaves then Bernie steps in. If Bernie isn't ready then out of necessity, McBreen goes top & Duke goes wide

The question marks over where to play Duke is why I wouldn't place him on the definite list. He should be played upfront but seems like he is on the wing for now. Flores has been a little off colour lately and the great link up play of the Arnie days doesn't seem to have come over to the Moss era.

Flores is a very passionate player.
He plays through his heart & with Arnold leaving his disappointment has reflected in his game with a slight loss of confidence.
Mossy`s man management needs to come to the fore to reassure Flores.
Once he has his confidence in the team back ,his performances will improve.
He`s a quality player,he`ll get over it.
