WSW will easily beat Nix, Sydney will be desperate. This is a massive game for us.

They will kick lumps out of us (again) expect a really hard battle.

The key to beating SFC.......make sure Del Piero doesnt get room at all when he gets the ball, SIMPLE AS THAT!

Problem was Rogic and the rest of the crew fell for it, keep a cool head and dont let his experience get the better of you.

You should email the team directly.

For mine it's exactly what FFC said. SFC are still dreaming about the six and with Lucas they finally have leadership. Is Griffiths still suspended this weekend? Sure hope so. Time for some payback.

A Mariner always pays his debts. (In honour of the new GOT thread)

No Luca$$$$$$$$$h for this one

Lucas Neill has been ruled out of Sydney FC's crucial clash with Central Coast Mariners on Saturday evening.

The Qantas Socceroos captain suffered a slight calf tear during training on Thursday morning, meaning the Sky Blues will have to face the league's highest-scoring side without their big-name central defender.

It is a huge blow to Sydney coach Frank Farina, with his side desperate for a win to keep their finals hopes alive after two straight losses on the road.

On Wednesday, Neill had spoken of his excitment at playing his first club game in Sydney for 17 years but Sky Blues fans will have to wait until at least the round 25 clash against Melbourne Victory next week to properly welcome the Socceroo home.

Surely Hutcho's overdue to get himself sent off by now? ;-)

Good to see Neill out (well, it's disappointing in a way, but at this point of the season all I care about are wins) - see, looks like they kick lumps out of each other at training too ;-)

Ahh our favourite Ref I see. Another kicking coming up, but hopefully we can still blow them away.

Taking my young 'fella to this one to sing in the away bay - can't wait!

Be interesting to see how WSW go this week too now that they're favourites...

I personally think Lucas is a loss. Sydney lack leadership. Anyhow, it's more about how we play and the refs not being too atrocious I think.

On overall form we should win this but i am a little nervous against a desperate FC .If we can keep ADP quiet and we take at least a couple of the many chances i think we should have against a fragile Sydney defence its in the bag.

I would like to see this

.......................Matty.....................
Pedj......Trent..........Dutchie.......Rose
............Monty..........Hutch................
Bernie........McGlinchey...........Fitz
.....................McBreen....................

Duke , Ando , Olly, Pasfield

I think the 7 days rest will be good for McBreen and i feel he is due after a few lean weeks, also think McGlinchey is the only choice we have as a creative 10 and has been good in the role in the past. Fitzy has impressed me and i think its time we give him a a start, Sterj offers nothing other than experience.

i think our problem with pelle is he's not a No 10. he's a right side running player.
