R21 Glory vs CCM

Who's replacing Bozanic on the field tonight??

Doubt Olly would've been in the 11 - we'll almost certainly line up with you're old friend Sterj playing where Olly should be, and now we have Nick Fitzgerald who can also play that role.

I echo Wombat's thoughts - we wish you bloke's all the best EXCEPT when you're playing us...

Hi All, nice forum, you've even spoken about the game in more detail than the PG fans forum! Is anyone betting on CCM? Since I failed to bet on the other team playing Glory the last 3 times I'm really keen to make amends for it but this game is a tricky one. How do your players usually cope in Perth with temperatures in the late 20's???

I am not a betting man, and perhaps sports betting is a small problem leading to other ills at the moment, so certainly I'm not about to start. Prediction however, 1-2.

Your youth team gave ours a caning last weekend, so hard to see why players like Zahra aren't playing.

I have the same feeling Shipwreck. Not much to cheer about so far. Quite a few players need to lift substantially. Once again we are in the habit of butchering chances. Hopefully a better second half.

We were shite with both fullbacks being the worst culprits. Duchy,Tesco, sterj and Bernie looked alright but everyone else were passengers.

we seem to step up for the big games thankfully

and while this is no excuse I was wondering today out loud how the time of the game would influence body clocks etc - they're finishing a game at midnight by their own time. did seem flat but
in fairness PG threw everything at them and got to more balls

just hope PG carry on now and take points
off WSW next week too
.
rueing missed chances early especially

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit

Watching the highlights of the goals I noticed that Patrick was out of position for both goals, especially the second goal in which he got drawn in allowing the space for Smeltz to put away the header.

I think this is the loss that we had to have, would rather we lose this one than against either the Victory or WSW.

Its going to be an interesting couple of weeks thats for sure!

Can't believe we lost to Perth. Perth! They were sure up for it.

If Bluetongue remains the fortress it's been all season the Plate should still be ours for the taking. Will be pissed if Wanderers did win it though.

Perth are *much* improved. The silver lining is that they might take a lump out of Wanderers next week.
And Melbourne A dropped points. I really don't think they're up to it. Wanderers the worry.

I reckon this was coming. The Brisbane game was much the same, but we managed to scrape a draw which covered some of the cracks.

In both that game and the Perth game we had no composure, couldn't string together two passes and then resorted to the long ball. So hard to watch when if we keep the ball on the deck we can really play...

Either Wellington are terrible or we really turn it on at home. I guess we'll find out over then next two games.

Anyway were still top of the league so the sky hasn't fallen in yet!

Perth IMO have had a very very strong squad with a piss poor coach.... shows in many ways how could GA is ... the same with Popa ... he has a team of cast offs in the main...

I hope GA can turn it around for next week ... would love to end MV's chance of winning ...
