ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

See Adz! Someone agrees with me!

. me three (i think)

. as for ali edwards ... surely the appropriate approach is to tell the players to go out and play as they have been so an impartial opinion of the 'problems' can be formed first hand :) . we should be the right team to demonstrate their weaknesses ... he should take advantage of that before he needs to 'get down to business'

. i much prefer that to the farina approach ... every player you maime gets a year added to you contract because it shows you are the competitive type that i want in my squad

I don't think the "fire up for the new coach" has been working so far this year. From memory all three "new" coaches started off with a loss, so I don't expect this weekend to be any different.
I think you're both right. Guessing Arnie will have everyone wary and have them stick to their guns. The Mariners Liner is running too hard and fast to be knocked off course.

What's the latest on Ollie - is he available?

We have a very strong left side of the field with Ollie, Nick F, and Sterj (which is the order I'd have them in, despite Sterj playing admirably for an hour last week)

I THINK I read that Ollie was only out for another week or so and that he is close to agreeing to an extension.

Quietly thinking that olly would be heading OS if his season hadn't been a bit interrupted with injuries

If CCM win the next 3 games they will have done enough to win the League.
Does anyone believe this is possible?
I think we can get 2 wins in the next 3 games.

We've a great chance in Perth: they haven't scored since Jan 11th.
What's a good result for us in the NRMAWSWFC v Tards game tho?
You'd think draw, but how about a momentum snapping loss for Wanderers?

I guess either a draw or Victory win is the same for us, keeps the points gap the same - a full game ahead of 2nd with a game in hand.

Hi All, nice forum, you've even spoken about the game in more detail than the PG fans forum! Is anyone betting on CCM? Since I failed to bet on the other team playing Glory the last 3 times I'm really keen to make amends for it but this game is a tricky one. How do your players usually cope in Perth with temperatures in the late 20's???

Hi diCardo,
We are a pretty fit side so high 20s shouldn't bother us.

What happened to you guys recently? Why the dramatic decline?

I've got a soft spot for Perth so I prefer it when you guys are doing well. Having said that I hope we stuff you.

That's true about being fit and considering our team will be trying out a new formation (4-1-4-1 apparently) that they only learnt of this week, it's hard to see anything but a CCM win over here.

It's hard to say what went wrong but I believe Fergie got his tactics (team selection, setup, substitutes) all wrong, he really doesn't have the knowledge of how to be a competitive coach unfortunately. Plus the fact we have only 2/3 youth players (< 25 yrs old) being played regularly it meant we were relying on the old legs of Dodd, Heffernan and Nick Ward. I doubt the team selection will be much different tonight...

Who's replacing Bozanic on the field tonight??
