7 minutes in and Elder has actively interfered with play twice around the box

I missed those instances, but his positioning is rubbish. Too close to where play is going to go. May mean he misses something as he's not reading play.

Might be nervousness - not having had many HAL games he's probably overrunning it to stay too close.

Because other people on here care what I think about the referee's positioning

Entertaining match so far. Rojas and Berisha being problematic so far.

I'm sat in line with the six yard box and I thought it offside. Berisha seems to spend a lot of time wandering about in potentially offside positions

Missed the first 20 of the 2nd half, but MV look to be very comfortably in control of this match.
Not upset though. Still a much better team than at the start of the season, and we've had a 3-match winning streak to lose against a much higher team

We weren't horrible, we just weren't up to the standard of a much better side today.

Sadly the predictable hand-wringers in a certain comments section on a certain social media platform will just revert to type though.

It may just have been me but i thought there was a weird feel about that second half. There was no intensity in it and the boys looked well cooked at the end.
Not too disappointed - we'd have been in it nite if we could actually convert corners sometime, but ultimately I couldn't think of anything that Paolo could've done differently, to change the outcome. Need someone at CAM who is more experienced there than Fab. Just couldn't cut through their midfield today.

Trent looks fatigued and probably needs a rest we can not forget he is only 18. He was slow in his decisions and reactions. Also thought at 60 mins the whole team looked flat and needed fresh legs, don't understand making a sub at the 89th minute when you are 2 nil down, like Okon but think he didn't look for fresh legs early enough today.

Frustrating game and the school boy errors made an unwelcome return, MV pressed us well and we really missed Monty, barely seen Berry other than his mandatory back passes. He has a lot to learn I'm afraid.

Need to look at next week and a huge improvement needed or the Scum will get us.

Disappointing to lose but it happened because of youthful inexperience. We desperately missed Monty but Berry had some good touches, some not so good. h
e seems to struggle more with the physical side considering that he can't play with the Academy now a loan to an NPL side in the off season might be a good idea.

I wont go near the clubs FB page - however, you cant really be too harsh on the side for today.

Sydney and Victory are miles ahead of everyone else, Roar and the Plastics in behind. The other 6 are all much of a muchness and we need to concentrate on beating whats around us.

Very much men against boys and we were simply outplayed by a better side.
