ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I like Berry but with Monty out maybe a bit more mongrel was needed.
That's what we missed yesterday, an enforcer.
Berry is a good footballer, with a big future in front of him, just lacks that street fighter scrapper that Monty and Hutch before him provide

Posco showed some mongrel, I really liked that. A few times he cleared/went through a player when others wouldn't. Good to see, need more people doing that. If we can't match them with skill, we should at least be making it a shit afternoon (capt. obvious here).

Berry played well until about 60mins when his legs gave out. There is a very good footballer in there I think

He actually looks better than Rose in that Possie at the same stage BUT he is not up to the required standard yet.
Looks like a decent prospect but too soft and raw against the big boys.

I sort of had hopes we'd scrape a draw out of this somehow.
During the warm up before the game though I had a feeling we'd be stuffed.
At the MV end they had a couple of posts on the edge of the 18 yard box.
One player would run in, receive the ball, shoot and leave the area clear for the next player.

Meanwhile at our end Appiah & Fab were crossing into the penalty area and our players were
running in to take shots. But they weren't getting out of the way in time for the next shot.
Players being hit by balls in front of goal. They seemed to be laughing about it too.
It was like watching the Woy Woy under 10's warm up, but not quite as organised.
