ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

From JP's article
Central Coast will be without influential playmaker Nick Montgomery, who is serving a one-week suspension. After 18 rounds he leads the club for chances created (22), assists (four) and crosses (86), and is second for passes (718).

The old cat certainly been playing well but leading attacking stats who would have thought that, can see why we miss him. I reckon defensively he'd be leading a few stats as well, tackles won for sure

Heh, I would have been singing Caceres praise if he was as effective. Hilarious.

Hi guys - As you could guess by the username I'm a Melb fan.
Coming up for the game this weekend and after some local knowledge. Where's good for a drink + pre game feed? Last year we didn't take into account that most bistro's shut after 2.30:doh:

Hi Vuck, The Gosford sailing club is a short stroll around the waterfront
The brasserie is open 12.00 to 2.30pm. Food is really good, beer is always great & the view is fantastic.
The best way from Sydney is to catch the train from Central to Gosford ( you`ll go past the stadium just before Gosford station.)
Walk or taxi to the sailing club then walk back to the ground.
I hope you have a fantastic day & enjoy the worlds most picturesq football ground

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
well...a rollicking good storm just hit Gosford , and it appears its gonna be raining tomoz .....hope the groundsman is on form after the NRL finish their trial game, and no I don't really care about whether the nrl use the ground , its just shitty scheduling, for a league match that means nothing, and a match for us that means everything

Might just have to eat a sizeable meal in Sydney before coming up then - Last time I was forced to eat a very average Kebab from a place called Kermat's or something. Credit to them though, only place open at the time.

Yeah I think I'm giving you a bit too much credit (no disrespect) but we are going through our annual mid season cock up so nothing would surprise me
Hotel Gosford, 1,000 times better than any kebab. We travel to every game and have no issues with a decent feed before/ after any game.

They`ll have to work through the night to repair it after the storm:popcorn:

Kermats has the worst mushy peas ever made. Hotel Gosford is a good choice, also the Noodle place over the road.

People don't like Central Coast Leagues for pregame drinks anymore?
Leilei and Hoole should have been sent (Hoole did the same coathanger O'Donovan got sent for, and it was only a free kick. Only worth a yellow - but he was already on one). At least they're suspended anyway. Now, as long as O'Donovan doesn't lose his Irish calm tomorrow......

Still, I'm excited that next week's derby is going to be the most meaningful one in a long time.

C'mon City, Sydney and the Mariners for the rest of the weekend. We could go into the derby in 6th!
Sneak a win against Victory and City and Phoenix can have a draw, Brisbane over Perth would help too. City and Perth dropping points can really open up the race.

Wanderers and the ref just ruined a perfect weekend

Ah well Sydney were due to be robbed

But now we must win to jump Scum and Nix and keep pressing on WSW who now start ACL
