    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

    If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

On Caceres: I never thought Sainsbury was going to make it from early appearances - remember Arnie hooking him at HT against Sydney - but Arnie, and Style-Cafe, had faith.
And yes - Duke upfront, McBreen as phantom No 10;
if your two CMids are left footed play will tend to be biased towards the right of the field;
one break down the left, second half, McGlinchey on the ball - 5 Jets defenders in the box with only McBreen to mark - their defence very difficult to break down.
and finally - that 'two-footed' tackle by Sainsbury: one full blooded with his left followed immediately by full blooded with his right. The stuff of legend!

Mexican wave should equal instant tasering or even shooting.

Active support should come in all forms for all types of people in the stadium.

If a certain type of active support is not your thing, then don't join in. Judge those that do join in by their intention to have fun and help our team.

I doubt we're about to get into a circumstance where a Mariners game resembles a school carnival. Bay 16 will always be the loudest and I'm sure there's a significant element in there that will do better than school carnival for the majority of the time. However, don't forget there's plenty of school kids in the crowd who may well be in bay 16 in years to come. Perhaps consider it yoof development :)

Whatever it takes to create a positive atmosphere for The Mariners IMO.

The immature child in me kinda wishes we did a modified Mexican wave directing the middle finger towards the Jets fans.
Way too much choreography involved o_O

maybe the baywide taser. you could reserve the use for special occasions, squad rants, bling or melbourne.
i think the charge might fry 20 or 30 of them . but i think it's a fair price.

see wombat below installing the unit below the away bay

now thats a taser

Agree.

Caceras's debut was vastly superior to Tesco's and also Matty Simon's.

Doesnt he normally play DM as well?

It wasn't a blinding debut but it was a pass.

Looked like 1.5 bays to me.

Decent numbers none the less...and some of them even paid for a train ticket!

Come to think of it, which players have had amazing debuts for the club?

Tesco was ordinary, Simon wasn't any good for about 10 games and the first game I saw Ryan in a friendly in Tassie I thought he was terrible.

Any other less than impressive debuts?

Thanks for remembering my faith in Sainsbury Roy. I was fortunate enough to be able to walk to Suncorp with his father & sister,the shared a few beers with them in Caxton St. He certainly comes from "good stock".They are wonderful people & ex-brits to!!

I have another one to keep an eye on too mate.18year old Jack Ragen.
Pencil him into your notebook for the future.
