So who do we blame for 3rd goal?
Roux for loosing 50/50
Ashcroft for being caught by Berisha being more alert
Tinker Belle for not coming and getting it

Very poor tactics second half.

Route 1 football. No measured forward passes either, just kick and hope. Taking off Bingham and Austin was also simply parking the bus. Lost any chance of bouncing back.

I guess with those stats we were very lucky not to go down 3-6 or worse in the end.

Just goes to show how important squad depth is.

Still, a precious point when I was not expecting anything.

A small issue - isn't it tradition to interview the home team coach and player after a match? Were we not the home team?

Not to sure who it was but the play before the full back had heaps of time and no player anywhere near him .. either the keeper should have come out and got it he could have got the ball and played it up field or even belted it out further up the park... but he took a panic swipe at the ball it just floated out the TB's took a quick throw and the defence never quite recovered...

However it was good to see some heart back in the side ... does make you wonder what Fitzy must be thinking ... me thinks someone has got into his head and had him thinking he was a star...

Agree with everything especially the Sour Bitter Shits and how we never even got a interview.

Austin had nothing left to give though... He was almost walking more than he was running at the end there... You could see that he was going to have to come off before the change was prepped.

Not sure about Bingham but I'm guessing it would be similar, they both did a LOT of running and Bing hasn't had a single full 90 yet.

As always, I think there's a lot more to these decisions than we can see from the armchair... I get a bit frustrated looking at the people going on about these changes on Facebook... I would've sort of liked Trent on for one of them, but I have to admit, I think we were so pressed by the time L Rose went on, I'm not sure what else TW could have done.

THIS - Times infinity... Bear in mind how happy you'd have been with that point three hours ago :D

Sucked it ended up a draw. Was a very poor second half as we lack composure but I think you will find the young boys will learn a tonne out of that. If we can pick up a little more experience like what Chatsworth is talking about bringing in then we will have a cracking second half of the season. I'm quite excited about the rest of the year. I'm going to dwell on the first half of that game which was some great counter attacking brilliance. Go Mariners.

No complaints, if we were offered a point pre game we would have snapped their hands off.

Unbeaten in 2016 and we will not get the spoon. Cheeky run for 6th is not out of the question either.

1st half was the best display of counter attacking football from any team all season. Sublime football

In Bingers we may have the new Matty. With added technique.

They played for the badge.

What was worse

Loosing the 3 goal lead

Or

TW shit joke about it being our biggest home crowd of the season?

I banked on 0 points from that game so in that regard am happy for the point. I'm just wondering whether Trent would have offered a better outlet than Stella at the end. It probably would have taken a bit of pressure of at the back as well.

I think we're being a bit unfair to the guys by slamming them for a bad 2nd half. Let's face it MV leave us for dead class-wise at this point in time; once they decided to play we were always going to find it tough. I thought the boys did a great job hanging on for the point. Had Mitch managed to put the chance away just after the break I think that would have been it.
Things we should be very happy about: we've now scored 6 goals in 2 games, we have 4 points from 6, we're unbeaten in 2016! We didn't manage that all of last year.

Someone check on Ancient Mariner cause my heart is struggling

Yeh, really worried about mine. Resuming normal breathing now.

A few points as to why we were robbed.

On their penalty I am pretty sure there was no contact. Of course Harper and Hill called it a penalty immediately and never questioned it.

I recorded the game and am pretty sure after running it back and forward Berisha was offside for that last goal. Harper and Hill with their superior technology never questioned the possibility.

However MV had many more chances and were clearly superior man for man. Would've been nice to nick the 3 points.

Positive performance, defence looking stinger, Austin having a go rather than stopping and looking around, Bingham looking good.

Needed more confidence when defending a lead and learning how to hold the ball better in defence. Heward Belle really needs to dominate and own his box. Good reflexes but he still has a very long way to go before he is at the standard required.

Definitely on the up and up, feeling better than a couple of weeks ago the plan appears to be getting back on track. I don't think we will make the six, but think we are a good bet to avoid the spoon. I do not think we are going to lose many young guys this year, so next year could be and the year after could be vintage.

Pretty good game but we f**ked it up @ 3-0 plus sadly more crowd violence plus total overkill by:popo: against 1 of our fans
