ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Kind of wonder why we don't just drop our consistently underperforming players and bring in more young blood. Maybe it will work, maybe it won't - our season is gone anyway, so at least we might get more of an idea on which youngsters are ready for the HAL. Assuming there is anybody in mind.

Good work Trent. First HAL goal is always a great moment. Great finish and positioning

You can burn/not burn whatever you like! I disagree with your assessment that the weather was the culprit, peace.

I think with the heat and the short turn around Trent was given less time tonight in prep for Saturday. We should hopefully have storm and Tavares back as well, with Trent starting and Galloway back to his preferred edge. While storm hasn't set the world on fire this year, having to move Galloway to cover and putting Neill in on the left has had horrific results In the last few rounds.

Fix our backline, shore up the midfield with Tavares and we will be respectable again.

I was f**king disgusted with this performance.... I thought maybe it was just my frustration leading to me agreeing with the commentators... But the difference it made to get Buhagiar and Appiah-Kubi on the park together, was immense... Appiah-Kubi might not be the best player in the world, but everything he does, he does with intensity - something that was sorely missing until the last 10 minutes tonight...
And I know that it was hot and that would've effected them, of course it would, but as has already been pointed out, MV was playing under the same circumstances.
Fox got it exactly right for once - ball coming out from goal at our end, was slow moving and dithering.
Ball coming out for MV, was fast, decisive and threatening... It was painfully obvious.
