ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I really want to know what's happened to Jacob Poscoliero.

. i have variously heard (though i can't remember where) that he has the flu or glandular fever ... and i haven't seen him around to ask

. if it is the dreaded kissing disease (oh! the life of a pro footballer ;)) ... it can take an age to recover from ... kinda like a chronic fatigue syndrome kinda thing

. agree that he was definitely one of our best last year. as for injury prone - i'm not sure. the injury that put him out was because he over extended trying to cover for an error (which i can't remember was of his doing on not)

. i can never remember seeing him give less than 100% and that never say die attitude has been lacking quite a bit lately (and in the right environment can be contagious)

. of course none of this indicates Okon's view on the bloke

Think people are being too harsh on this one. Besides, you and Wombat currently appear to agree, so one of you is obviously wrong. If not I'm giving up on this batshit crazy world.

. that's some funny shit right there

. this sort of comment should help to lift people out of their depression and prepare for tomorrow's game ... well played FP

Well done Al, couldn't bring myself to watch it again.
Agree with much of the comment by FP and BG.
I thought the style and structure was continuing to improve with the Brisbane game however MV was a giant step back.
Tav plays an important role in this style, the go to man when the defence and midfield are under pressure.
He is comfortable on the ball and will keep presenting to receive it again and find a pass.
Saw defenders frustrated a number of times with the lack of options in midfield.
MV knew we would continue playing out from the back and applied the high press to keep us under pressure, sooner of later we will fark up.
After the second goal we lost all shape.

If Posco was ill he should be on the unavailable list, otherwise I can only assume he is not being selected like McDonald or Fletcher.

. i agree to an extent ... but injury and illness are different things. injuries are typically listed, not so sure about illness - nor am i sure that such personal information needs to be publicly available
