ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

While Paulo has been reserved with injured players I wonder how much of that is the new strength and conditioning bloke saying give him another week and have him back stronger or risk him getting injured again this week.

We have had alot of one week injuries take 3 weeks to get back.

Also I wonder how much is ok he’s not injured but the fitness has dropped in that week or two where he needs another week to get fit enough. Asdrubal is probably in this thinking

Well, I can only hope that we treat these gormless clods like the Smurfs did, but 1 or 2 will do
Astroboy , Tommy ( All hail Hariejism) and Stormy are back.....everyone should click now that Tommy ( all hail hariejism) is back ...cause it was obvious we missed him last week

Good luck boys. Give em what they are asking for.

We have dominated WSW in the Okon era but have blown some wins through sloppy errors or ref errors. Tonight make them pay.

Need to be careful of the WSW crowd as well. This and Jets are the only time they can get close to there players and give them a lift through there noise (as souless and Olympic stadium they are miles away). We saw the effect when Jets got on top in rnd 1 and WSW have the same capability to lift the team with there noise.

Unfortunately missing the game but enjoy everyone but I will be at a party with my mate who is a WSW fan. So I’ll give him some stick if the boys can win this one. Otherwise will be a long night

Yeah, hitting DDS hard a few times early is a possible tactic. Though it doesn’t seem Gombaus style...

It’s obvious, but I thought Hooles interview was a good sign that he stated they know Wanderers will be hurting and desperate to make amends. So we won’t be taking them lightly.

I’m buying memberships for two people for early Christmas presents and bringing some others to the game - so really hoping we can play some great football and get a solid win.

I think we have the ability to absolutely thump them. Just need to play with the confidence, speed and intensity we are capable of and take a couple of chances and we’ll be all over them.

It's really annoying how the Away fans always have the noise advantage in our stadium (combination of the wind and roof).

Santalab fouled....and not our player a moment before hand who was collared from behind right in front of the ref. unbelievable.

omfg, Golec and Brama both need to be uppercutted or something for that goal. They were both running around in circles with absolutely no clue what to do, it was like watching U/8s at the back there. That's the sort of defence I thought we had fixed.

Missing Hiariej. Don't deserve to be down but aren't bossing them like usual either. I see a frustrating loss at 2-0 down. Would love the epic comeback right now

I legit want to f****** cry.

Why do we need a VAR check?? why isn't the ref making his own decision??
This is what we didn't want the VAR for. ref has a clear view and is too gutless to make a decision.
It's....yeah, it's a red card. Just more evidence that VAR is applied differently for different teams. MCY stud a player, no problem. We do, he's off.

Why the hell wasn't that flying scissors tackle a red card? Where's the VAR there?

Their player who SHOULD have been sent off scores one and sets up another. VAR only works one way. Only ever works one way.

The other question is though, I can accept that Brama's yellow was an error - but was it a clear, obvious error?

Are you kidding me? Brama was pulling out, there's no dragging studs. How is it worse than the tackle on Brama a few minutes in? How can they make that a red and not even look at the stomp on Hoole last week? This isn't football anymore.
