ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I know the feeling. Serious14 provided me with the following link, you may find it useful.

Test cricket and tennis just dont cut it. (Maybe batsmen should celebrate centuries by pulling up their shirts/boxing at the stumps or sliding on their knees instead of waving their bat around.  Maybe crowd numbers would increase if W league players to lift their shirts to celebrate goals?)that site is great, love some of the commentary on it too - especially the chinese football ones

John Hutchinson to take Mile Jedinak's role at Mariners

By Greg Danvers
January 07, 2009 12:00am

JOHN Hutchinson is the man most likely to fill the shoes of departed Socceroo Mile Jedinak at the Central Coast Mariners.

The imposing midfielder.... snip

Anything is a possibility, but Danvers has no credibility as a reporter as far as I'm concerned. Not quite in the Rebecca Wilson league, but not far off it.

Sheep f**kers and Perth a chance to nick wins imo

Jest
Phoenix
Glory

Here's hoping anyway.

I can't believe I would want the Scum to win but they were a tad unlucky in NZ, and pegging Adelaide back by 3 points would be very handy.

Wellington to draw at the very least....... probably nick a 1-0 or 2-1 win.  Sydney and Kosmina to get booed on to and off the field, and a crowd of about 7500 at best.

He's not a bad replacement - I didn't realise the game was at Lang Park....... (read the abc article)

Cant see it myself, he is a central midfielder but I reckon he isnt hard enough to play DM.

He has made RB his own this season and I would expect him to stay there TBH

The suggestion was because of his distribution. And since we are looking at playing 2 dms, could work imo

This is a massive game for us (as they all are from now on)

Adelaide and Melbourne will be there without question IMO which leaves 2 spots for Us, Roar and Nix IMO, I can't see Sydney getting there personally.

Our run in is :

Roar at home
Tards away
Adelaide at home

Roar  have :

Mariners away
Adelaide away
Sydney at home
Perth at home

Nix have :

Sydney away
Adelaide at home
Melbourne away

Intersting that us and Nix face the same opponents in the last 2 rounds!

Thank god we have a better goal difference to Welly, it could come down to it!

My gut feeling says we'll be playing Roar in the minor semi final.

Adz - it's time for that table prediction on the front page :)
