Wouldn't be surprised if Arnold signed Rostyn, would be very handy player in the j-league. Would be amazing to get him back here, maybe he can help bring the best out of Brent with some tough brotherly love.

I still think Arnold owes us a couple of talented young Japanese midfield attackers on loan

With the imminent departure of weemac and Flores injury plus the return of ibini, our front 3rd could be looking a hole lot like our NYL from 3 years ago!

First thoughts I had when hearing about season over for Flores, Wee Mac gone and Kwassie also out, was that its season over and just accept this is a transition year. On sleeping on it though we can still get something out of this season. What we have lost is "quality", tbh we have no one anywhere near Wee mac and Marcos's technical ability. but if we can get the team playing well together and this might just create a fantastic team spirit. Caceres may well have his chance now and Danny is not a bad #10 either. This might also push Dukey up front which imo is where he should be. A lot will depend if we can get good injury replacements but I am not confident given our financial situation. Unless someone needs game time for the World cup and rival clubs don't get there first. Hopefully we can get a result against the Heart, Wee Mac is still available for that one, that will put us maybe 3rd with the season all to play for. My head tells me that we have lost too much to win anything this year and that we are in for a tough ACL. My heart tho, well I am hopeful we can punch above our weight as usual. We will have to.

. with flores also being ruled out (which i believe is still to be confirmed by the club) ... we need to keep this thought process in mind. it is largely pointless to pick up one or two 'squad players' if they add little to the team beyond numbers

. particularly if there is insurance money on hand this can't be viewed as 'income' ... it must be spent as intended but invested wisely in the right player. we shouldn't be considering anybody that is of a lesser standard compared to those we have lost ... to effectively give them experience in the ACL when logic suggests they were not previously worthy of gaining experience in the HAL

We could try for this guy. He hasn't played since April, but we wouldn't have to unload a foreigner for him. Class would stand him in good stead until match fitness caught up. And if we got him it'd get right up the Smurfs' noses.
