ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Read a couple of articles where Mossie has been given the green light to look for some players ....
Could you post a link or two?

If we lose Trent ... given the age of our backs.... should we think about Lucas Neil if he is playing for basic wages like Harry...
He gets released wherever he goes. I think his ship has sailed.

I'm not looking forward to this transfer window. Normally we're smashing it in the season by now and the transfer window comes and ruins our mojo and we limp over the line at the end of the season. We've not got our mojo yet as its been distruptions one after the other. I think there is probably a large target on both Sainsbury and Duke, hopefully we don't lose either until the end of the season but I'm expecting at least one of them to move on.

I also don't think we have the depth we did last season and the ACL is going to kill us unless something drastic happens.

The good news is that Tommy might be available on Loan

. pretty good summary of the situation i think

. the only thing in our favour at the moment is that we have been playing duke out of position which has probably taken some shine off

Exactly - He looked dangerous when put up front against WSW as a sub. It's definately his best position. I thought he'd go up front on the return of Ibini but that didn't happen. Maybe wait until end of transfer window before putting him back up front.

Actually what the side needs is players with better connections to what the other is doing. I really like the earlier post of the NYL side from years gone by being reunited. Duke leading Fitz, Caceras & Ibini. Mcbreen looking to old or needs a holiday to rejuvenate. Simon on as first sub.

You bloody Beauty - Pitty it wasn't us - although if you have other players Lennon for the position we'd be interested in giving them a run.

i'd prefer this, we could have done with him but it would always have been temporary and this way is better for both Tommy and Australia. and of course Arnie.

Bugger. Why would he want to go there? I'd be suprised if he gets released anyway, especially to another A league club. Thats assuming he is under contract, which i'm sure he is.

FFA Wanderers want Cahill, so Mooy is surplus to requirements.

Happy to take Mooy & he would fit our needs - Not sure he wants us thought - Cahill would only play a handful of games before the MLS starts again I presume.

Sydney FC has launched an audacious bid to bring rising star Tom Rogic back to the A-League as its hierarchy seeks to add the glamour factor to revive its flagging season.

The club's multi-millionaire owner David Traktovenko has personally sanctioned the approach with Rogic lined up to replace Australia veteran Brett Emerton as the club's Australian marquee.

Keep your grubby paws off him... we want to increase his chances of playing in the WC, not kill them off entirely!

. i don't follow other teams (so could be talking more shit than usual) ... but regardless, i can't think of a player that has gone to sydney and had their game or reputation enhanced. most of those that have come in with a 'reputation' fail to even meet expectations

. the expectations placed on a young, inexperienced player on $1m+ salary in that environment ... wow
