ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

First I heard of WeeMac potentially going, was admitted - at the time - as outright speculation with absolutely NO foundation in rumour or realities. Somehow it seems to have gotten legs all on it's own - as we say where I'm from ;)
Sofar, whenever I've heard or seen it mentioned, it's been as entirely unfounded rumour, not even the sort of thing that was claimed as "insider sources say", so to me, this is pure speculation at this point, caused by discussions about who Arnie would potentially take with him IF he was to bring anyone etc. etc... I honestly don't see it either... I really rate WeeMac... A LOT... And I know nothing of Sendai... AT ALL... But I would assume that, finally having a budget to work with, Arnie would be curious about the experience of actually shopping for some of the more expensive players, to see what he can do with a potentially higher rated team in a tougher league.
That's not to say that WeeMac won't go/be poached somewhere eventually, as mentioned, I do rate him... Just don't think it'll be to Sendai...

Anyone thought about losing both Sainsbury & McGlinchey in Jan?
I'm sure more than just Arnold has their sights on them.

Everyone knows Trent is keen on Europe, that's nothing knew. What I'm suggesting is that while all the articles are talking about losing one to make way for Bernie (as ridiculous as that is) we may lose both even without getting Bernie.
Especially with the way MC has been talking.
Let's hope mossy has a contingency plan. Backs are ok. Ando & Griff are both capable but Weemac is irreplaceable. Unless the young fella we signed for nyl is ready to do an Amini

I would hate to lose either Glinch or Sains. Of the two I suspect we are more likely to lose Sainsbury. He would probably be the easiest loss to cover. Let's face it McGlinchey is irreplaceable.
But yeh, I would take Bernie back at the right price.

quote of note:
"With Vegalta having gone cold on the idea of signing an
Australian player, their attention has switched elsewhere"

Arnie's best service for the mariners this year will be to take a star from another A-League club.

But seriously unless they are tight as well surely he can be getting better players with the coin they'd have?
Berisha might be pretty good but it maybe shows Arnie only knows the A-League when it comes to scouting.

Lets face it where still waiting for the Africans that he was thinking about for us unless his geography his pretty bad & thinks Argentina is in africa.

Interesting the Vegemite sandwiches have gone cold on getting an aussie.
