ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Manly's run to the 1978 NSWRL Premiership comes to mind...
Maybe Nigerian Princes backing Adelaide United, I wouldn't put anything past those croweaters, btw I am happy their rotten premier keeps us out of his banal state, I could not think of a more lacklustre holiday experience than SA.

Did Rowles get a red card after the match... I am hearing he sprayed water on the ref from his water bottle and the gutless prick gave him a red card...

Not sure if its true ...

At the end of the day it took 3 dubious penalties for them to get a shot on target. 95 times out of 100 we win that game. The only real lesson to learn is that we had chances to put a few more on them and didn't. Move on from the game, learn from it and hope the dropped points don't come back to bite us.

Yes - he got a red as they were coming off. Not sure what for but I have heard that version

Great leadership tonight by Staj. It’s really tempting when you are clearly being cheated to loose your cool but he kept it and controlled the boys on the sidelines not to get in more trouble because you know with a referee like that he thinks he’s so powerful and he will just throw cards for fun and he will be backed up by the league
It was a shame Kye snuck in a got off a verbal and got a red because all it did was hurt us. The ref couldn’t careless.
At fi I thought Kye sprayed him wihis water bottle but I think it was just a snide remark
You saw how quickly the card came out? He was already holding it in case anyone said a word!

Obviously knew the shitstorm was about to break but that card was ready - malice aforethought.

Haven't been able to sleep so may as well come here and express some more rage...

In the end, I suspect this might be good for us. Nothing galvanises a team (or its fans) like a deep sense of injustice. Needs to be a lot of noise at home games the rest of the season.

. when we conceded a 'last year' goal to the wanderers earlier in the season ... i could see a few of the players drop their intensity for the remainder of the game

. it concerned me enough to not post my observations ... i wanted to see how the boys would respond ... and a couple of days later they had me believing this season really would be different when we wiped the floor with sydney

. bring on perth!

Rob Cornthwaite said on Fox the ref told Staj he'd been standing all game, as he booked him.
It was mentioned after about him being out of the technical area a lot.

Someone should have stopped Rowles getting anyone near the ref after the game.
Staj was closest I think. But maybe Oli should have been there as captain.
Or Matty, who was rather diplomatic in his post match interview.
If Rowles said something to the ref, depending what it was he could get off, although doubtful.
If he sprayed water, would that be three games?

I heard this was only the third time in aleague history a team had conceded 3 pens in a game, anyone with the stats know the other 2?

Really disappointed by the ref'ing, it feels like match fixing and makes me want to not follow the league at all. What's the point if the ref's are so clearly biased, I don't even think it's incompetence, it's straight out cheating and bias.

It almost feels like a pre-arranged marketing stunt to get more people watching/talking about the A-League. For real fans it's not a good advert for the game and why wouldn't everyone start diving all the time now? Disgraceful and shameful.

That one on Ruon was the clearest dive I think I've ever seen.

I’d say he’ll get the standard 2 games for straight red
Could be very wrong but I think he said something along the lines of “cheating c***”
