Staj’s is up now and it’s glorious
He does so well to keep his cool whilst subtly questioning the integrity of the match officials and the way adelaides players handled themselves.
I love him so much more and as I mentioned earlier, for anyone that watches the post match presser and what Staj said, Tonight will be the motivation from here on. The f**ks in charge can’t handle us winning this league, they don’t want us to be succesful, but f**k that, we’ll do it anyway.
Bravo Bellisimo!!!!

I was quite amazed when Harper, Peacock and even Robbie Cornthwaite all agreed that all three penalties were wrong. Cornthwaite was also amazed that the reason for Staj's yellow from the ref was because he had been standing up all game.
Pretty amazing when the entire Fox team including an ex Adelaide player and local are with us.
Somebody on reddit, who claimed they were at the match, said it was because Staj was repeatedly standing outside the technical area and had been warned repeatedly.

Well, normally the escalation process is that the referee issues a warning before a card - but that aside, he wasn't outside at the throw-in when he copped his card.

when did that oxygen thief say that?
It’s an admission of cheating that should be dealt with but we all know it won’t.
Well, it wasn't quite that obvious, but he was basically asked in the HT interview if he took a dive and he just nervously smiled and said 'I think...uhh...when you know contact is coming you just start to brace....and...uhh...that's all it was...yeah' more smiles....

Cheating c**t.

A-League referees in the spotlight after another controversial weekend

This back in 2019.
Controversial refereeing decisions sadly dominated the A-League headlines again this week. Rob Brooks explains that voices of discontent over perceived preferential treatment for some clubs are now too loud to ignore.

Talking point of the weekend

Indeed, following a foul late in the match, it did seem as though referee Adam Fielding reached for a card to show Zullo -- who had already picked up a yellow card in the first half -- but then stopped himself and signalled for just a free kick. Regardless of the reasons for this, it was a truly terrible look for Fielding, and it didn't escape the attention of fans and pundits.

Look, we all know all three penalties were bullshit but at the end of the day we missed four easy headers - Simon, Urena (x 2) and Ollie at the end. All four should have been buried.
You can blame not being better than a refs dodgy call when it’s a one off key decision like a red or one penalty. Cant be expecting 3 or 4 to play around the ref.

Imagine if our Mariners were to adopt the dirty practices of SFC, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne Victory, Melbourne City, Wellington, Macarthur, Western United, Brisbane Roar,Western Sydney Wankers, and not forgetting the most lamentable and tragic bunch of losers to set foot on a football field the ex Chinese owned Jets, we would be unbeatable.
I wonder how many decent football fans would sign a change.org petition to have the match officials investigated and have the game replayed...

I really thought that after a year away, farm sitting with my beautiful wife and previously witnessing so many abhorrent referees appointed to our matches that there might be a slight improvement looks like I was wrong. The A League really needs a freaking big broom swept through it.
Our Refs are without doubt the WORST in the World. Australia normally punches above our weight in EVERYTHING we do....but our Refs and linesmen are beyond words. I cant explain it!
Streb Delovski was a world class ref imho, but the moment he went into management of the spastics we call refs he starting talking rubbish.

I saw Streb after the Nix game and said he needed to pull on the boots again but he said no chance sadly. :headbutt:

I read alot of posts on alot forums sending commiseration to the boys, I see them, i appreciate them, I say fućk em ( the commiserations, not the people sending them). I hope the boys dwell on this, I hope the use it, and I hope they shove it so far down the refs and the opposition throats next time the bastards realize reffing a game so stupidly will only push our boys to greater heights.
Onward and upwards boys.

If he’s going to defend that and some of the other howlers that happen too often then he needs to go to. Bring in someone with no connections to this cozy group and start holding officials to account. How many promising NPL refs do we have around the country not getting a shot to step up?

Worst since the Sydney match when Kossie hackers kicked the sh$t out of us all night and we had two or three players sent off and their goal the field player actually caught the ball and rolled it forward and it was play on...
I forgot all about that but yes
