ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Birraz isn`t Monty...Birraz did.
We’ve got to remember the club needs it to be signed and 100% locked in before they make an announcement. They can’t go off rumour, someone’s word or anything less ironclad.Ran into a mate today, lot of disappointment out there. The sooner this gets put to bed the better.
Why not have both?Surely cahn and hutch are frontrunner for job
True, and maybe the public rejection by Arnold has made them cautious. ie get everything signed firstThought Hibs would’ve announced Monty by now tbh.
I wouldn’t personally…….And would he drag his wife and teenage daughters away from Terrigal back to winter in Scotland? Methinks not
I truly hope this is correct and that they can’t sell their club vision to him.Maybe it's Monty interviewing them. He probably wants to see first hand what he's getting himself into rather than joining for money. He knows what he's leaving, he probably wants to see what he's considering joining. Either that or he's not fully sold and needs convincing so they brought him over.
No, birraz partner dragged him and his kids to Scotland. Happy wife happy life and thatBirraz did.
£50k fee. f**k off.Hmmm
Nick Montgomery sets out Hibs aim to challenge Celtic and Rangers as Central Coast Mariners fee revealed

Sounds like a release clause negotiated when he was first appointedSo club have basically given up far too easily in regards to money wise
Most likely and when he signed that contract he had no senior level coaching experience so it probably seemed reasonable.Sounds like a release clause negotiated when he was first appointed
Yep given how Dick Peil is chasing money from all corners of the globe I assume it was in his initial contract and therefore the Club has no other option.Sounds like a release clause negotiated when he was first appointed
That is an absolute kick in the teeth.£50k fee. f**k off.
He's from the North of England. Cold and depressing is what he is used to.Hibs pay $985,000 in wages i just found out. Probably more than triple what Monty is on here. Hopefully when he gets there and remembers how cold drab and dank Scotland can be he comes back quickly and all is forgiven.
You cant ask for a transfer fee, you can ask for compensation for losing a contractor. So club have basically given up far too easily in regards to money wise
