ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Well captain obvious here, this will be a test for RP.

Charlesworth, had many faults, arguably his worst was who he appointed as coach.

RP, needs to appoint a coach, willing to rebuild the side every year, have the ability to identify top youth, and then develop them...

RP needs to stay out of it then. Let Simmo, Enzo, Bernal and Shaun deal with it. No more RP faves

TBF I think the LW fiasco was a wake up call to let the football people pick the football people. There's hopefully enough runs on the board and strength in personality from Simmo and Bernal to keep it that way
Better to have that lesson learned in the academy with no significant consequences. A smart business person won’t make the same mistake twice.

Browsed the Hibs forum, there’s word that the non international players were told they won’t have days off this weekend because the new coach will be announced on Monday…
No idea how true that is, ofcourse

Have to assume it's rubbish really.

The main requirements of the role needed to keep our model as a selling club running is:
a coach proven at developing young players and recruiting and polishing diamonds in the rough to be competitive enough to sell to bigger leagues.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I've only seen Moon do the opposite

To be fair, he was able to move youth players, just wasn't able to get a fee for them, because they were trying to leave the club.

If it's true, can't see DWH being too happy.

I think he was at Western when Moon was around
