ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

National Youth League Fixtures and Mariners youth team discussion

Was a great game to watch and the standard is really good and our team is so well organised and brilliantly fast on an attack which is a pleasure to see. The influence on the way the team plays similar to the attack to our A League team is awesome and the coaching is top notch.

2 things that stand out to me watching these games as an old bastard now that I had forgotten about are:

1). How good is it watching a game without VAR when a goal is scored and it’s celebrated without a ridiculous 3 minute wait for the video to then decide whether its a goal or not. Yeah there is a touch of complaining ( queue Northern Spirit) but the game just flows so much better and moves on from any borderline decisions.

2). How good is that an offside is given straight away and the play doesn’t meander along for 30 seconds or so and then the flag is reluctantly put up which made the last bit of play irrelevant or someone gets seriously injured in meaningless play.

I know they wont change what has been done in top league football but in my view its so much better to watch the old way and Anyway will crawl back into my cave now.

Was interested in how we play as well. Definitely replicating the 1st team but didn’t get that feel from SC but not sure how much of that is due to their changes in their team

With Lachlan Bayliss gone and Di Pizio rumoured only to be here until January I'd love to see us bring in Nathan Amanatidis from Adelaide. He only played as as sub for the Joeys but was one of the few that performed well (along with Di Pizio) for 128 minutes getting 2 goals and an assist

Low hanging fruit but I have to state the bleeding obvious and say that we looked like we missed Lachie this evening. I hope the club has reinforcements lined up, as we also look light on in the striker department, although Brandtman did put a solid shift tonight.
