ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Personally, I would have him in the squad ahead of Stringers (reserve player, one for the future etc)

Any word on who might be with Lightning this season?

HE really is that bad a case of being signed as a favour to a first-teamer?

Richie Partridge was like that at Liverpool - signed for years and years on 1yr deals when Michael Owen was around. Then Mikey left and he plummeted down the football league.

just speculation but he was by far the weakest link in the squad

apart from the poor fella who did his cruciate in the first week of training

in saying that darko probably scored the team's goal of the season in perth - screamer

From CC Football website

FUTURE FOOTBALL STARS

The CCF and Lightning FC congratulate the following players selected from Lightning U18 and U20 teams by the Mariners to trial out for their U20 National Youth League team on Tuesday 12th May at Christie Park.  The selected  players were Jake Purches, Daniel Bird, Dale Hall, Scott Briggs, Blake Silvers, Cameron Donovan, Nick Jelbart, Caleb Holstein.  This reinforces Lightning's strategy of providing a pathway for Central Coast players to be provided the opportunity to play at a National Level and beyond.

with the signing of two gun young goalkeepers and two australian under 19s player our youth team is already looking healthier (hree players actually as one of these internationals is the keeper)

good when we steal players under sydney's nose as well

most of the players from last season are still eligible
