ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Easy, point out any money that was going to be spent on her has been given to the Victorian bushfire appeal. If that doesn't get you suitably in the shit, then tell her it is a benefit match for the victims.

Or if your feeling like getting yourself right in the shit. Break it to her that your spending time with your other Valentine, Football.

Tell her you plan to spend a few hours watching young boys getting all sweaty

She should be so shitty with you that you can slip away easily. Admittedly this is an extreme excuse that could have long term effects so dont say I didnt warn you

LOL

Say that and she'll probably find a handyman task at home for you, and go herself.

Was VERY wet, Mariners were getting destroyed in the first half, but had a few chances. Was much better for them in the 2nd half overall a much improved performance than those first few games, and perhaps could have gone differently. Was a good goal too, chipped the keeper nice effort.

Good Sydney contingent at the game, had a banner "FFA give us the final in Sydney"

Mariners #11 woke up in cold sweats last night dreaming that Matt Jurman was still coming after him.

Just got in to a bit of tussle with our best defender. Got himself well and truly taken care of. Studs flying everywhere in the rain last night, funny stuff. But that guy in particular got himself in a situation he couldn't handle

2-0 would've been more acurate, but neither team could do much in the conditions. Meh.

I'm happy to stand corrected, but I believe none of our boys are too old to play NYL again this year. In other words, while they might have done poorly against the likes of Sydney this year, they were mostly playing against lads older than them (Sydney only have three players eligible to return to NYL from those not already in the first team).

Any ideas on whether Smith, Sherlock and Lewis might be in the first team list next year? If so, there are three spots outside of any releases.

Queensland had the youngest side in the comp, they still managed to come third.

We may've had an old side in some ways, but aside from Triantis (how on earth did you not sign him btw?!), the older players didn't perform that well. It was mostly our 17-19yr olds beating everyone else's 16-19yr olds.
