ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I've seen about 20 frame by frame replays - not much contact in it at all (but hey see for yourself, i am bias). Makes you wonder if he got so long for a 'high five' how long would Giffiths have got if he was red carded?

Makes me wonder if that was why he got given a yellow .....tin hat ON!

The cynic in me wonders if the FFA decided to send a message to other codes that THEY are prepared to be firm with players.

What I dont get is why the f**k would you rub out your U23's keeper with an Olympics looming??? Buckley has demonstrated clearly that he is the wrong person for the role. Being an AFL Tard, he has proved that he knows absolutely nothing about the game.

Thanks to the FFA, we have had to endure:

1) The ticketing fiasco at EAs when they were unable to segregate fans or ensure that people with GA didnt cram into seat in the bay.

2) The GF fiasco where they decided to move it to Sydney but not cover additional travel costs (I spent more on the finals than my membership BTW)

3) The Danny disaster.

Can you imagine any other sporting body in any code doing something to deliberately harm their national side??

Time to go Buckley you f**king idiot

Don't forget the fact that we weren't allowed streamers or anything and one drum.

How about the fact that they allocated all of our "home" Grand Final seats looking into the sun?

Or the non-segregated trains (sure, wasn't that much trouble, but hey)

And the "we can't afford to open grounds earlier" attitude when crowds are big, or even in regards to U21s/Reserves matches.

The FFA are a bunch of bumbling f**kwits and it's not gonna be long before FIFA realise this.
Goodbye World Cup big - Australia, you don't f**king deserve it.

And if we wanna talk about national bodies, how about the Buffon incident?

Once upon a time three hairy arsholes decided to changed the course of football history, their names were:

See nothing
Hear nothing
Speak nothing but dribble

Also known as the independent appeals tribunal - does Frank pay into their retirment funds!???

If it's a FIFA ban, then yes, it will take affect for ALL professional leagues and games.
Possibly meaning he won't be able to train with the boys to keep his fitness up over the time he goes.

This is devastating, the kid must be wrecked.

Is there any news on a second appeal?

I don't think there will be.
It's like like they're gonna say, "oh, ok Danny, just have 9 months" and I don't think there's any more "evidence" to give. The club and Danny must be pretty down right now, as was said in the press-release, it's best to just try to move on now.

ABC Central Coast radio is having Talk Back regarding Danny and the appeal today at 11.15am.

Tune in from 11am and call in, bound to be an interesting listen.

Station 92.5am.

Sorry for the big letters, but with so much going on it was bound to be missed.

There is no way that they would be able to enforce a training ban

I'm struggling with the logic of how they can say his suspension stands but the penalty for re-offending can be reduced?

You'd think if the arguments were based on his good record, character, inexperience, etc. then any reduction should have been off the initial time served, not the suspended part.
i.e. "Ok, we'll go easy 'cause it's our first time, but if you do it again....."

But that would make sense. The only sense in this decision is that it matches everything else the FFA has been involved with this season: ridiculous.

Thanks Floss, I couldn't find anything either.
If anyone finds something and can post it, would be greatly appreciated!

Hell, maybe someone could record it or something?
