ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Random question, when reading the report.

We noticed during the game, the girls looked really tired in the last 10 minutes...he still had 3 subs to use...and the coach did not sub once? Only sub used was when  Kingsley was sent off with a suspected broken leg.

Anyone know why he wouldn't of bothered with a sub? A fresh pair of legs in the last 10 mins could of lifted the game...

Sometimes when your chasing a close game, and believe you have your best 11 on the park, even though you know they are tired you don't want to change things.

Just a guess though.

Thanks Chris.

Just upgraded to a second hand Canon 1d mk3 - ridiculous overkill for what I need but I like gadgets ;) Until recently I was using a Canon 450d and that was perfectly fine for the most part. The lens used is a Canon 300mm f/4 (also picked up second hand) and I'm very happy with it.

Michelle Heyman called up for Matilda's 29 member training squad; good on her but shame she was the only Mariner called up after their very good season

Caitlin Cooper would have been a possible in my view.  Ashleigh Connor would have been a bolter. Kelly Golebioswki presumably considered veteran stage.

BRISBANE
2 March 2010

Westfield Matildas Head Coach Tom Sermanni has announced his extended squad to play in the two matches against DPR Korea on the 3rd and 6th March 2010.

Sermanni has added four players to his squad that recently returned from a successful tour of New Zealand recording two 3-0 wins over the Football Ferns.

Brisbane Roar's Karla Reuter has been added to the squad along with Melbourne
Victory's Laura Alleway, young Canberra United midfielder Emily Van Egmond and Westfield W-League 2009 Golden Boot and Julie Dolan Medal winner Michelle Heyman from the Central Coast Mariners.

The 24-player squad are set to face DPR Korea, currently 5th in the FIFA Women's World Rankings, in the two matches at Ballymore Stadium.

Twas just a question.... and more the fact that the FFA site hasn't even been updated with the final report, makes me think it's not all that much of a priority.

I'd agree with you Poko.

My only information is that it may start later than the HAL round 6 that it did last year - so looking at October or even later perhaps - due to Young Matildas commitments.  That may impact overseas players coming/ coming back.
