ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

General Manager is a staff position. Director is a Board position - you're comparing apples and washing machines.
GM reports to the Board and is responsible for the management of the club.
Directors are elected by members and are responsible for the good governance of the club (including hiring and firing the GM).
so no one is getting paid? or everybody is getting a cut?
or are we gunna get . the acme corporate guide next?
IMHO we need to be more ambitious and go for the scenic lounge.
Piss off the old time waltzing classes or whatever nonsense they put on.
DJ/live music and get it rocking.
The pub pre GF was brilliant even without a band. That can't be recreated for every game sadly but for bigger games its doable.
A Kendall without music/chanting etc is just another bar really.
The GM is paid (along with other staff), the Board (i.e. the Directors) aren't.
Moving on.
Going big would be good. When the Kendall got empty, it got emptier. We need to fill it and make it continue to feel full. It shouldn't just be a family room, it should have some muscle and noise about it. People shouldn't feel like a song is out of place because there are kids around.
so we actualy have no salary data .but we should move on.good one
you know dude . i saw that merrylands rsl owns .everglades over at umina.
why would you accumulate clubs except for profit

I thought those were pretty good I have 3 of them 1 signed by the entire squad & 1 signed by Robbie SlaterLooks like a cross between this
and this
It's worth noting they only needed the white away kit because they let those monkeys from Rangers buy in and change the shirt blue.
*bumpit*
Apparently, there's an article coming out in tomorrow's Herald around planning being underway to move more CCM games to NSO. From the sounds, we could lose half our home games. Whilst a rumour at this stage, I've heard the article has statements from Charlsworth to that effect.
I think it's a fantastic way to ruin our support base; simply brilliant.
I live in Stanmore. North Sydney's a lot closer to where I live than Gosford. But I don't support Central Coast because it's convenient.
I support Central Coast because that's where I'm from. It's part of who I am. By extension, so are the Mariners.
If the Mariners move half their games to NSO, they're not really a CC team anymore. The identity is lost, and the depth my attachment is lost with it. It's not my team anymore.
If you're a Coastie (present or ex-pat), what's the point of supporting a Central Coast team if it's not really a Central Coast team?
If you're from North Sydney, don't you deserve a team of your own rather than borrowing one from the sticks for a few weeks a year?
Quite frankly it's an insult to both regions.
