ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

sydneyfan said:obviously you will all already be prejudiced against me and disregard what i have to say, but i couldnt hear you guys at all when the cove quitened down after singing we cant hear you. there was just this gloomy silence. come on guys have some fun and get behind your team.
one thing i have to admit is that the huge sea of yellow was an impressive sight following petrovski's goals. very cool.
you guys should catch the cole train back to the cove. then youll learn a thing or too about real chanting.

I doubt it although it might be whats needed to waken him up.Razorback said:Does Lawrie dare drop our skipper???

From bed and without the benefit of vision, I saw the game this way:
. Poor crowd considering who was playing, and the first home game being on a Sat night. I did my bit by making sure someone (from Newcastle) went in my place.
...snip
I thought that up the front we played on always making chances and Adrian is i would say our best new player thus far.Arabmariner said:I doubt it although it might be whats needed to waken him up.Razorback said:Does Lawrie dare drop our skipper???
While on the subject of Wilko I'm not sure he's captain material anyway.Has anyone else noticed how his head goes down when things are not going to plan.I first noticed it last year when we went through that bad spell around xmas and into the new year. We'd lose a goal and he would be standing around looking at his feet and shaking his head whilst Aloi$i would be doing the captains job of trying to get the players to lift.At one point during the 5-2 defeat against Melbourne I saw Aloi$i telling him to lift his head and get on with it.
Several people around where I sit have noticed this....anyone else?
Not sure who I'd make skipper though......maybe Bozza!!!!
Are you from Newcastle Redman??Redman James said:I thought that up the front we played on always making chances and Adrian is i would say our best new player thus far.Arabmariner said:I doubt it although it might be whats needed to waken him up.Razorback said:Does Lawrie dare drop our skipper???

Bozza is a guest player so not chance of being captian.
I think Hucho looks like a player that could take contol of a team or Sasho.
Because Wilko i to quiet for the job but i think Lawie bein a great coach is to stuborn.

I'd like to think I don't unobjectively look at the team I support through rose-coloured glasses. If I saw crap I'd call it too. Last night was better than my crap.
If you want to look at them through your shit-coloured glasses, that's your call - however much it shits me. I'm glad you're both diehards who'll continue your support as much as I'm glad as I'll (apparently) be at a different game.

Apart from the home semi against the scum, how many times have we looked the goods since the 5-4 debacle?? Not many.
Yellowcake, criticise me all you want because thats your right too. But you ever accuse me of following Chelsea again and we have a problem.
Yesss 4 sure they should have been called Pussy FC. Man it made me angry.jaypee said:One of the things (amongst many) that shits me after last night was the way Colosimo laid on the ground like he'd been shot. The game stopped and I think we all felt bad that this guy may be out for a while this season. Then he gets up and jumps back on the field. He has gone way down in my books. I know guys get little knocks and do the same thing but he was still for minutes...... Bloody wanker
