ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners v Queensland Minor Semi Finals

Sasho is now a scummer and we wont miss him

The problem is in MF, Hutchinson knows he is a protected species and Adrian plays 20/30 mins tops

I think we need a new broom from the top down

yeah caceres has never been a 90 minute player as evidenced with perth and melbourne....
apart from gumps who is aging we have bugger all, as bad as this is to say i think the scum have a better crack at the acl than we do... thats 4 losses on the trot now

We didn't deserve to win, but that QLD pen....didn't he just fall over? Did one of our guys actually lay any part of their body on him?

And how Tiatto wasn't given a straight red, i'll never know. If that isn't an "obvious error" by the ref, I'm the Queen of Sheba.

TBH our problem is a lack of quality. Throughout the preceding three years we have been able to get away with it due to the league still finding its feet.

As recruitment and tactics has steadily improved over time, we have sadly been left behind. No longer can we rely on the "blue collar" work for each other approach that the central coat implement.

What is disappointing is watching non-established clubs poach big name QUALITY player, whilst we settle for mediocre league 2 (fourth division) english players.

We need a serious clean out of the roster, starting with the gaffer. There is too much NSL baggage left behind.

Was a dead set penalty TBH

Yes, Tiatto should have gone in the 1st half but I dont think that made a difference

I think two harsh realisations have been made tonight:
- the Mariners have only qualified for the finals because of the blatant ineptitude of most of the sides who didn't.
- the squad is far too stale and not keeping up with the rising standard of the league.

Hate to say this but McKinna needs to go - we are stale and need a shake up
not gonna happen, clearly he has the backing of the board
i would like to see some more flair and less static predictable crap

TBH, Tobin. Kick LM upstairs and let Tobin have a go. He made a v poor yoof side hard to beat

Worth a shot IMHO

But who would you replace him with?  :-\

The plethora of coaches that dont promote second division scottish football

ZOMG, a thinking fan - be off with you :)

lol was obviously a tongue in cheek comment

its disappointing to think that at the start of the season we looked to play with genuine width (caceres and elrich), but albeit due to injury fell back to playing through the middle often mitigating our midfield, thus creating less space and therefore less time causing an increase in turn over of possession.

During that second half i could not recall us completing 8 passes, whereas QLD passed the ball fluently with a lot of ease.

Forgive my perhaps overly pessimistic attitude, but expect an early exit in the ACL in front of a sparse amount of dedicated fans.

Qld's movement and closing down stifled our long ball hoofing game

We are so easy to work out as we play with no guile

Kinda glad I didn`t waste the yen in the end, if what is being said on here and the match report at the A-League site is anything to go by...... and I know there`s the whole "we were down 2 last season" but last season, we were Premiers and a very good side when we wanted to be.  It seems this season has been a waste of time quite frankly - we`ve gone nowhere but backwards.

P.S.  Crowd of 9500??  Wtf??
