ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

When I watched the scoreboard on a-league.com.au I saw that there were 4 subs + 1 gk on each side.
Why is there a difference in the amount of subs you are allowed to have compared to the normal A-League matches?

tbh Happy I'm not sure either, I guess it could be to give the coach an extra option to make the finals more of a spectacle...I'm clutching a little here...anyone got an idea??

How did Tiatto stay on that long?

When will the Mariners head the ball down?

How big of an idiot is Slater?

If the pitch is that bad in the ACL we're not seeing any ACL action in Gossie

That is all - CCM were 2-0 down last year too.

The man is a genius!

I sent an email to Fox.

I love it how he tried to correct himself and then got it more wrong!

Just got home. Won't comment on the game, cause, well y'know.

What I will say is we need to find a replacement for Jedinak quicksmart. We havent won and game without him and only scored three goals. (and let in about 10)..

also, can the trumpet guy please, please please stop. We've moved on etc.

Spot on brennan.

To add to that, to stay in the finals mix next season, let alone do well in the ACL, there needs to be a major rethink of a lot of things.

I don't usually criticize on referees as i am one myself but that ref was absolute sh*te!

Tiatto should get an extra 2 weeks so he's out untill next season.

Still think Boogs would have been a better option as our DM and may have swayed the game more in our favour. Another thing (to be fair) it's our finishing that is letting us down. We are failing to find the net and it is killing us. We seem to dominate, fail to score and then submit...

+1

While we had a lot of possesion in the first half we lacked any real threat to goal. Our finishing is v.poor. On the other hand zullo and minnecon had off nights and they could create a chance.

We are carrying a lot of dead weight in the team and nothing has been added that stands out above what we have. IMO we are looking at a quicker exit from the ACL that the jest ATM.

Center of excellence for football in Aus? OK we have plans for the future, but things can quickly change in an area who really haven't taken to football on a grand scale. A period of sustaned losses and embarresment could signal very poor crowds (sub 5000).

Very dissapointed at the lack of action from the FFA and mariners to market this game(s). Shows a level of neglect really.

sorry the ref had a good game imo we have to look at ourselves we havent scored a goal since sasho has been on the bench.maybe a time for a clean out including lawrie who has done a great job but time for change. 3-0 in brisbane next week no problem

Would we have won those games with Jedi in the side? We might have beaten Adelaide and gotten a draw against the Roar, but I doubt that the result against Melbourne would have been any different.

There needs to be a rethink of how the team approaches games, style of play, and remoulding the squad. The club has such tremendous potential and it had better be realised sooner rather than later.

we're mediocre, we have little flair and our strikers have been sussed out... next season willbe a long one because our club refuses to recruit

Face facts, we arent a very good side, we are poorly coached and we have too many players who are not HAL standard

We were done over by a better side. End of

We had nothing, created nothing and its time for a new approach

Other people will point out the players who didnt want to be out there tonight (cough, Hutchinson)

Hey, I have played in poor sides and watched poor sides, sometimes you need to face the fact that you just arent good enough

exactly right GP
we arent good enough, no shame in that
but what will the club do to improve this? the acl deadline is fast approaching and we have lost sasho, not looking good imo
