ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Milligan is a grub.
He is the product of his mentor and role model the grubbiest grub of them all Kevin Muscatt. He has been morphed by Muscatt into the likeness of himself. And that aint a good look for football.

As i said after Muscat complaining about football going back 20 years with the NSO debacle, we are still 10 years a head as it moved forward 30 years when he retired.

Sometimes this country sucks. Right now I can watch all the highlights of last night's EPL on my mobile and nothing from yesterday's A-League.

anybody see milligan's elbow ? disgraceful refereeing , expect nothing from the FFA
It must have been quite an impact because the claret was flowing straight away. FFA should do something if only to allay concerns that Football is sinking to the same level as another more brutal code.

Thanks Roy,
I missed the game (sadly) due to other committments but it sounds like we pretty competitive.
Getting a point over the ditch this year is a good result.
Good to see Matty on the score sheet too!!

Roy Keane. Every game he played.
Ah, yes, a hot headed Irishman (Google is my friend). Sorry, as a new Football fan (coming up to 3 years :) ) I don't know much about o'seas players and only a little about o'seas clubs. What I was actually asking about was names/incidents of players like that in Oz., not in "Somewhere-out-there-zizstan", if you know what I mean. ;) But, since KM retired we probably don't have too many, except maybe *his* proteges. ;)

Wasn't he supposed to be a forward though?... Didn't see the last game that he featured in - was otherwise occupied - but I was wondering about it as I was watching today's game. He seemed to be played more as a winger than a FWD, maybe that has something to do with it?
Too early to tell if Bingham will make it, he needs full games in his right position; but I found it interesting that it was he, a big lump of a centre forward, who came on for the skilful winger Vernes, and not the skilful winger Kim.

Yeah if leaving Simon on then why not put Bingham upfront next to him. Still looked lost but makes no sense why he went on and played wide. Don't ruin him by doing the duke thing with him. He looks very much cf or left right out.
