ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Muscat has been told to show cause by the MRP for stomping on Tricky in the 48th Min.

I went back and watched the incident. The stupid biased commentators didn't mention it - they just kept on about Simons foul straight after it.

From the MRP:

"An incident involving Manny Muscat (Wellington Phoenix) in or around the 48th minute of Wellington Phoenix’s match against the Central Coast Mariners on Saturday evening. The Player has been cited for the incident and a show cause notice has been issued (the Notice). The Player has until 12:00pm Tuesday, 16 December 2014 to make submissions in response to the Notice. The MRP will reconvene tomorrow afternoon to consider the Citation Incident and any submissions filed by the Player."

Muscat got two weeks:

1) An incident involving Manny Muscat (Wellington Phoenix) in or around the 48th minute of Wellington Phoenix’s match against the Central Coast Mariners on Saturday afternoon. The Player was cited by the MRP in accordance with the Hyundai A-League Disciplinary Regulations (Regulations). In reviewing the incident during this afternoon’s meeting, the MRP took into consideration the submissions lodged by Wellington Phoenix. The MRP determined that the Player committed the offence of R2 – Assault on a Player against Glen Trifiro and proposed a sanction of two (2) matches, being the Mandatory Match Suspension plus one (1) additional match. This is the minimum sanction for such an offence under the Regulations.

Gee, I'm lost for words. But no offense taken at all. I was actually asking about A-League players and incidents similar to the Milligan one just talked about, in the A-League, so the last 10 years here in Australia. I did say that it wasn't o'seas I was asking about. Anyway, if you don't want to answer any of my questions please feel free to not read my posts, or even put me in your ignore bin. Whatever you feel best suits you.
In the meantime, thanks to those people whose collective knowledge gave me a few names to chase up. Googling with a broad question like "dirty A-League players" or something along those lines gave me absolutely zilch. So I turned to the Cognoscenti on this forum. :)

Don't think I saw Joel Griffiths on that list.
And quietly, our own Lliam "stomper" Reddy would have been there not too long ago also.
Other clubs see Matty Simon the same way also, but I have absolutely no idea what they're talking about :innocent:
