ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners V MV Rd 9 - NSO match

9 pages of comments and next to nothing about the game itself. crazy times indeed.
1. I'm fine with one, two, and it's really pushing it but maybe even three games away for the marketing reasons. any more Definitely not.
what worries me is a) McKinna's reaction and b) some of the scary stuff I've read about Storrie. on the face of it I'm ok with the current situation IF that's how it remains. what leaves me nervously watching and waiting is points a) and b).

2. MV are in dangerously good form. leaving big players out is pretty arrogant and I'm hoping it comes back to bit.ch slap muscrat.
in some ways I like playing very good opposition right now, we'll be forced to step up a little. we did in the last ACL and it made a massive difference to our season last season. a win would go down very nicely about now.

It's hard to talk about the Football.
We will probably put out a substandard starting 11 and play dull safety first football that will see us create 4 or 5 chances for the whole game.
We will probably lose again and Mossy will talk about the progress being made.

That is the Groundhog Day we have been re-living each week.

Or Mossy can change the formation and play attacking Football and even if we lose we can be happy as we have actually had a go.

It's only groundhog day because you're not actually watching the games.

Really??? Who is organising it. Haven't heard anything on social media. Hope they get a good turn out because ten people shouting will look bad.

ok everyone, the protest will be at the stadium , on the western side opposite the cc leagues club . we will be there from about 6pm till 7 pm we will then go into the leagues club to watch the game . please bring banners stating that we are NOT HAPPY ABOUT MOVING TO NSW OR BROOKVALE AND THAT CHARLESWORH AND BRUCE NEED TO LISTEN TO THE LOYAL FANS !!! see you all there

it was done for the season 1 grand final but it's a good idea though:)
Its slightly different circumstances, my take on the matter is it's about fans not wishing to attend NSO and show we support our team playing at our home ground!
Its a very complex suggestion though i can easily see how it could fly right over somebody's head :headbutt:

When do they ever do this for HOME games?

A lot of people already pissed off, and this is just making it worse!

I think they have sent that to everyone who is in the database. No problem with this but why can't this be done for home games? I fail to understand why the massive effort put in for the NSO game can't be replicated for CCS games.

Because they are *dead set scared* that the crowd will only be nominal and it will be hard to put a positive spin on a crowd of sub 10K. given all the unique North Shore marketing effort they have put in. It would be red faces all round.

Exactly. If they put the same amount of effort into the home games, they wouldn't need to move to North Sydney.
