ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners to sign Reddy ???

His contract with Sydney United is up in September and a goodly stretch of unemployment beckons.

Sure he will take our cash. That's right, YOU are paying that grub!

Designated scapegoat … could be Reddy's role now Pedj has gone...

Being the designated scapegoat is an important position… it gives us someone to blame when things aren't doing well…. And something to complain about when things are going well..

Although you have to earn the scapegoat mantle ... Hutch had it for a while ... wonders aloud do you have to pay you dues to play the blues and if so does someone need to earn the scapegoat mantle..

If Reddy does not come wonders aloud who will be the next scapegoat .... as I said an important role ...

I cant think of anything the club could do to anger me more than sign Reddy.

Apart from his history (dickhead, drunk on flights, stomping Sully, playing for Scum/bling/bris and being a dickhead everytime he played against us) he is a shit keeper.

Throw Kwassie in goal if we have to.

I have never booed a mariners player, even pellers, but Reddy I will boo til i pass out.

Some people had the same sentiments when GA signed on.
Sure he`s made some mistakes but so had Bosnich.
Give the guy a go, it`s what Aussies do.

I love to hate Reddy too, however, from a business case point of view it would probably make sense if he were to come cheap, after all, CCM still needs to run on the smell of an oily rag. If the club deems it to be the right move then what say do we really have? May as well just get on with it. That said, I still don't like him.

Apparently looked very ordinary in training today (so, looked himself). Jamie Young did quite well.

I've never heard of Young, did a quick google search and seems he only has played lower League football in England. Would much prefer him over Reddy, and I'd imagine Young would be trying to push for a starters job so would be hard working IMO (I base this on purely nothing though)

He looks impressive, and is a top fella to boot. Hung around talking to my mate about PNE, Darren Ferguson and Graham Westley. Very genuine, down to earth guy. Sign him, now, and get that f**kstain reddy away from our club.

Just watched a clip of Jones' highlights. Very agile indeed, and he can give his goalkicks one hell of a tonk, landing some of them 60 or 70 metres away. Wouldn't mind him.
