ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I know it's not 1989 any more but double standards?

. definitely not '89 anymore ... from the linked article: "loud applause and the announcement from the plane’s captain that Boon had reached 52."

. this one was posted on the mariners facebook page:

. from the commentary "he was more intent to hurt terra rather than just playing the ball"

. this is why it has ruffled so many feathers ... there is no single incident but agree about the crossed wires

I don't like him as much as the next person, but he is now a Mariner.
He plays for the club that we love and he should be given our support.
There's no mistaking that he is a quality keeper when he puts his mind on the job.
The battle to be first choice keeper will be interesting.

do we really want this crap @ our club that "save" was worse than robert green's "save" vs usa @ 2010 world cup

It's very hard to get excited about signing someone like Reddy, but if Arnie and the club are satisfied with the character of the man enough to sign him, then that's good enough with me. Obviously the club have made it plainly clear to Reddy that one step out of line he's gone, and listening to Reddy talk, he fully understands the score.

Some of the comments on here have been hysterical and way over the top. Our club is the perfect environment for someone like Reddy. He has a history of on field and off field misdemeanours, but if he is professional, works hard and fits into our culture, then it'll be a good signing and Pasfield needs a good second keeper to keep him on his toes. I predict he'll be fine and will keep Pasfield on his toes.

We have absolutely no reason not to trust Arnie on this. In fact, it's quite the opposite, he's never got a signing wrong based on the character of any player and that the club. That should be good enough for us all to be satisfied with signing him.
