ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Really don't want Pain, Hoole or Kennedy here next seaon. Just not good enough and I don't believe they have the fight and spirit needed for next season.

He draws a lot of attention, whenever I see him with the ball he has like 3 opposing players all over him, if he could draw that attention and then pass the ball without those stupid pirouettes he'd be much more effective.

DDS can’t shoot. Missed sitt
One I'd like us to have a go at is ruon tongyik. He was awesome last yr not got much of a crack this year. Out and out centre half. Great one to groom up.
Probs unlikely but a boy can dream.
Was signed by WSW for Gombau with Bruce Kamau. Which adds to the weirdness at WSW as they had gone and got some former AU players for him.

Pain gets cranky but doesn’t defend all that well and has one or two good games a year.
Not starting quality but decent backup

I thought Pain arguably showed the most fight of anyone the last 3 games. He was angry. I liked him angry. He seems to score goals when he’s angry.

And fat....he scores goals when he is fat.

For me i would keep Pain but as a back up for a starting number 11.

Him and Hoole are decent but not starting 11 in a fair dinkum side.

Agreed, I like Painy , at least he showed some grunt this year ...remember he got angry and got a double , you could virtually see him go f**kit, his back straightened and he went whack whack....and his always giving it a go....id keep him over Major Indecision (Hoole)

I think Connor is capable when he is emotionally invested in the game or keeping his contract for another season. When he isn't though, he is a very poor left winger, how many times did he beat an isolated right back this year? How many times did he deliver a worthwhile cross? He has one trick, pretend to go one way and then try and knock it past the right back. The right back catches up and then we get a corner, or a goal kick. In his entire time with us there are about 6 occasions when he has put in dangerous crosses, that simply isn't good enough.

Wasn't announced as signed somewhere else in Japan?

Not that I have heard - he went from Victory to Japan then to City. I don't think he will be easy to get, having slotted in so easily at City. However, if he believes in what Mike wants to do he is a player that fills a first XI spot well (LM/LW) for us but also gives us the cover at DM and CAM that we desperately need.

Yup I reckon he'd be a marquee player payment. 6+ K a week.

Left footed left winger whose best foot is his right 3 times a year
