Just had a look and Rostyn was 48 appearance for 4 goals. Not as good a record as l thought. I remember him scoring a great goal at home. Can't remember who against though.

Was there talk of possibly only retaining one of the Dutchies? If that happened then Rostyn would be ideal. Don't imagine Jedi would be likely. Rostyn either honestly.

I want to see how our Dutch pairing go in a functional team anyway

What about Ochang from AU as RB. Just released from AU. He’d be cheap and looking for game time. Unfortunately that’s about as high a standard as we can attract financially.

He didn’t get a lot of time but is young and has promise.

If he can tie his own shoes he’s an upgrade on McGing

Disappointing I think, but makes sense... If we're looking to build a legacy, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to be doing so partially off the back of a player who was looking to leave at the end of the contract anyway, especially not when he's also taking up a visa position.... As long as his Hiariejness stays...

Get Rostyn in, recruit a quality keeper and use our import spots for a decent ten and a decent nine. That should make a solid spine.

Although it leaves the door wide open to make a big play for Rostyn or Olly.

Obviously a quality player but for the experience he has had, and quality of league he has played in , i don't think we were getting value for money.
A stand out for me in a very poor season was a lack of leadership, and Wout really didn't stand out there. His disipline was also inconsistent and that tackle on Gameiro one of the the poorest things i have seen in a Mariners shirt.
Sorry to see him go but if we recruit well then we should be in a better place.
