Yeah, the club is probably late in starting the talks. But f**k me. It’s at their discretion. They’re the contract holders. That “innocent just saying hey” coffee a couple months back was the initial offer no doubt about it.

Sorry but this one isn’t really on the club. This is on the player. He couldn’t at very least wait for what we’re offering before even considering other options? What’s the rush? You’re playing well. Clubs will obviously line up if we couldn’t please his demands. Then in that case, it is on the club.
