ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Which means we won't be paying him unders - avoiding the risk of being slammed for what we did to Wales.
But with Wales we also refused to meet the competing offers
I agree we should psy him fairly but for a club that is still going to struggle with the budget next year there is a big risk of being outbid for him

Given that he currently plays off the bench, is it fair to say that after decades of searching after rumoured sightings off Patonga, we've finally found the Central Coast Midget Sub

Very happy for nizzy, there atleast needs to be an optional extension. We can’t f**k around again like we did lachie. We can’t afford to be that stupid again.

I can’t see Golec starting ahead of Taylor, Durante or even their LB Cacace (terrible spelling)
He’s there for depth.

Wonderful for him to get his contract. I wish him a long and successful career AT CCM.

Good luck to Lord Golec, sorry to see him go and I wish him all the best.

But to make me truly happy I would like to see some signings for more than the end of this season, especially some contract extensions. Everyone here knows who I mean.

I have it on good authority that Tommy is looking for another 2 year contract and if very happy at Terrigal. Please make this happen Mike!!

The type of player we should be building our squad around.

He could make a massive contribution to football here beyond retirement like Patrick, Monty and Gumps has.

True, but you wait and see. With a good organised defensive unit around him he will go gang busters, probably even score against us at some stage. Will be the same old story of another player looking better at another club than with us. Rudan is building a good solid team at the Nix and now adding depth, 1,000 times better than what Mulvey has done with us and I think they probably started their jobs around the same time. Look who is more than likely to compete in the finals and who is unsuccessfully trying to avoid the spoon. Rudan's additions make sense, Mulvey's have us all asking more questions.

I'd be happy with that. He's 30 so has some of his best years ahead for someone who's played the level he has. Would be great to mentor nizzy.

Reading that honestly warms my poor little yellow navy heart.
The perfect player to build a competitive team around.
And I agree he would benefit central coast football as a whole afterwards. Like Patty, Gumbs, browny, Porter, kwas and the latest one Rosey.

But the more likely one is Mulvey saying “alright can you leave now? I have a 34 year old I know playing in Singapore who will do wonders here” at the end of the season.

We're complaining about the club only offering contracts to season end. Maybe the club IS offering longer contracts, but agents advising their clients to be with us this season to keep fit so that they're OK to go elsewhere next year?

If this doesn't happen you'd be seriously questioning the day to day management of this club. Any blind Freddy can see that he's great for fan engagement and improves the level of performance on the pitch. The manager needs to do what he paid for and manage any differences they may have rather than moving on one of the most talented midfielders in the comp.
