ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Fitzy is history...shame, he had his moments

f**k I'm cheering Recky!!!! I don't have to defend him to Neil for 90 mins every game....my right ear used to bleed. Many good Football people can't stand him but I think he is a useful winger to bring on in the latter half of a game.

There are far better players available but i will miss his yummy mummy.

70 a-league matches for cc Mariners. Attacking third player. 7 goals.

Bye Nick.

Maybe many young Australian attacking midfielders/forewords can't score. Seems that Visa players score the most goals and visa players are 7 8 9 10 11. And maybe visa players take majority of penalties.

Think of Andrew Hoole.....50 appearances for jets and 1 goal (penalty last season)

Always thought Nick as great squad player and great of bench. He is not ready to be a dominant player in a team. He will always have visa players demanding/ dominating possession and key attacking positions.

Maybe he has realized he doesn't suit our counter attacking way of playing that revolves around amazing pace of Austin and Fab.

TW and coaching team have given him amazing opportunities.

Fityz had a big heart and gave his all in most games ... that is his greatest asset...

The two key issues he had was effective decision making and touch under stress,... ... second he sometimes ran himself into positions leaving gaping holes when he was in no position to get back... many of the sucker goals we conceded this year have come from Fritzy running to positions and when we lost the ball the backs were both exposed in player numbers and also in the space they had to run at them... This was IMO one of his major failings in that he put the team at risk if we lost the ball....

I will not say a bad word against him as he gave his heart and soul in most games however his decision making was that of a squadie not a first choice player. Me thinks someone has got into his ear telling him he is a good as Musty or weeMac or AC and whoever than was has done the kid a major disservice.

So... Reddy, Anderson, Trifiro, Caceres, Fitzgerald and Sim all in the shot. Bernie, Brent Griffiths, Mitch Duke and Jon McKain of all people commenting.

It's a bit of a village of the damned thing isn't it?

How long do Sim and Trifiro have at the club? *whistles*

That's ok. It's actually a good pic.

However ....they are all underachievers apart from Reddy.....and he has problems in other areas.

Every single player believed they were far greater than they were at least I know now who was telling Fitzy he was the Australian Messie ...

Teams may change but friendships stay the same.........
Liam must have a lot of friends since leaving Newcastle, Brisbane, Wellington, Sydney & CCM.
He left all of them on poor terms except Welly (probably because he was only there for 12 games).
Best of luck with all your new homies at WSW.

Apart from players who have gone O/S, I'm struggling to come up with anyone who has left us to do better in the HAL.

Wee Mac has faded to obscurity this season

You know them well do you mate? Probably couldn't be further from the truth.

Sim will be gone the end of the year and Trifiro has an 'injury' and will be in the same boat.
