Regan is a very very average player. Slightly more mobile than Anderson but with slightly less talent.

Anderson unfortunately hit the glass ceiling this year & was very ordinary under Moss, failing to even make the match day squad for a long period.
Regan won the Ray Baartz Medal in 2013 as Newcastle`s best player & has been in the starting 11 for 3 years.
Even though Newcastle have struggled, he`s been a very strong, aggressive & consistent player.
Place him in a good club with a great culture & a decent coach & he may surprise you.
ps. Didn`t you dislike Sainsbury & Reddy?

Tesco was an absolute train wreck in his debut at RB but boy did he become a good CB.

Maybe I've just fallen into a bit of a cynical mind set and I'm happy to be wrong or informed otherwise (Ferreria's signing surprised me and is the best signing Moss made) but coming off our last season combined with no ACL to offer and our finances/pay for your supper - penny pinching debacle – it's a hard to imagine until we've have another decent season and appear more settled both on and off the park that we'd be a fist choice for many players very familiar with the HAL unless we're offering very good coin. (Which is not typical of us) Otherwise suspect it will be local players who need their shot ie; youth - or those who don't have another option. But maybe the fact they seem confident enough to release Cernak and Anderson etc, means they're confident of the quality they can bring in. Fingers crossed I guess...

We might not be first choice for players but with the bigger clubs like MV and SFC being successful and settled squads it gives us the chance to pick up more fabio's - players in good squads who have Lost there spots.
I'd like us to go after someone like Conner Pain MV. He might be under contract but he got bugger all chance at MV this year. He is a talented young Aussie like we need. He played left wing when came on. Not sure he is left footer but fits what we looking for and with bugger all chance at MV he might be interested in playing time before he drops off the map.
Any other players in his situation might be a chance to come just for playing time and if they are interested in overseas we happy to sell after after a year as well.
No doubt they have to take less pay but 1st team chances are aplenty.

I never rated Anderson, big and tall but lacking in awareness. Looked good next to Trent and Patty Z because they told him what to do. Squad player at best to come in when needed and be told what to do. I don't rate Regan at all and I think you got him spot on Wombat. Trent and Maty may not have started well but they were always confident in their own ability and bounced back very quickly. Trent had the same problem with the NT - looked out of place early on but could easily have been the player of the tournament at the Asian Cup.

I'd take him any day. He hasn't done as well this year, but I suspect that's because they let Hersi, Shinji & Mooy go from their midfield and the replacements haven't been able to do the job for him. Would ours be able to give him the service? I think so.

I walked into the shop just before 5pm today to finish off a bit of book work before going hone. There was a gentleman of Indian( or something close) persuasion sitting on the sofa (ex Hilton hotel....no rubbish SC!!!!) out the front waiting for one of the girls to finish their appointment.
I said hello and wandered into the office out the back. Within 3 mins old mate was slipping out the front door .....like a slimy grub.
I can only assume he thought I was of of the girls husbands(I should be so lucky) and what ever he had planned in his tiny mind had just been ruined by my arrival.
Our shop is the most authentic Thai massage centre on the coast and we heal and help people.
The threat of another bogan annoying the girls is not what we are seeking.......if he was a half decent Footballer or was Monty ( the manager thinks he is boss) then things might be different.
