Sorry Style, been posting from my phone a bit. Really do have fat fingers and I struggle with texts and get laughed at by work mates a fair bit. I try to correct my typos when I get a chance though.

Listening to Coast FM this morning. If Hersi passes the medical he will be signed on a very small contract - with the potential to re-sign next season if his recovery is complete. i.e. very little risk to the club.

He has been training with the Mariners and using the COE pool with his team mates all this week.
My wife has been enjoying the eye candy aspect of the Mariners at the pool this week.
Some interesting feedback.
She reckons Bingham has the best body and Stella is the only one without good abs.

From what I've seen, Heff has a great boot on him BUT is on his heels way too often and is very slow to run into spaces. His movement is also poor. I was having a chat at the youth game the other week and know that he has started working on his runs and awareness of others. Hard to give too much feedback when he hasn't had a chance in the first team BUT, from what he's shown with the youth, he's not showing any evidence of deserving one really. maybe a full preseason and season with us would change that. Who knows?!

So his Visa issues have cost us a week.

If indeed MC is looking at a marquee for next year we really need to get Fab and Monty citizenship. They have both been in Australia since at least 2012, possibly longer for Fab. We already have Monty, Fab, O'Donovan, Garcia and soon to be Hersi as visa players. Citizenship for Fab and/or Monty would allow us some flexibility

Not sure that implies there are visa problems so much as it might have taken longer to fit his medical in around everything that's been going on lately? Who knows. Either way he'll be a welcome addition if fit.

It's sad watching him play. Only because he has so much potential but fails to use his superior ball skill to attack. Still turns and passes back out of habit. I think Moss ruined him. Lets hope he can fix that soon.

LOL yeah - got into it in one of the 442 threads... Someone saying Mariners should've just kept him as CDM - when MC plays him there together with Paartalu! WHOAH!!!

Only problem was, we did try playing him back at CDM and threw a fit and left...
