ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I search mariners and got Mariners FC pty ltd

That would most likely by the company that holds MC's stake in the Mariners, since according to ASIC he is the sole director and secretary, and the principal place of business is the law firm he deals with in Sydney (as opposed to Mariners HQ for Central Coast Mariners FC Pty Ltd and Central Coast Mariners Foundation Ltd).

So again, I'm going to call BS.

All of the above is true and the week of bad news is not over yet. If you have seen the Facebook post from the guy from the yellow army
*If* this is true, and *if* you knew about it, why not raise it at the fans' forum last week *or* if you weren't there, why didn't you post it so Middy could raise it?

What are you? Chicken shit or full of shit?

I was at the fans forum but did not know about this then. I was told about it 2 days after the forum.

Bilo sounds very much like that guy who used the username Nathan Bryn. Now he was a poster on here that really had a dislike for the Mariners.

What does it say?

I think he must be referring to this one:

Suite au succès de l'offre privée d'hier, le Hpark joue le jeu et renouvelle ce soir son offre exceptionnelle :

1 Burger acheté = 1 Burger offert !!

Rendez-vous rapidement sur : http://somewebsitethathteresnopointinadvertisingfurther.for pour télécharger votre bon !

Offre valable uniquement sur présentation du bon de réduction le samedi 07 juin 2014 à partir de 18h30.

:santa::pirashoot: Other than that it's all either Amini love or the frustrated discussion about WeeMac - but certainly nothing in there that looks to me like anything serious...

Anyone that only posts negative comments on here obviously follows another team or has an agenda against the Mariners. I choose to ignore it, if we have some challenges ahead i'll worry about it when I hear it from a reputable source. :)

Not much of Mick's breaking news ever comes true. He most definitely has a source, I just question it & the motives behind it.

He didn't dislike the Mariners, he just was negative & too close to probably the same source that mick gets his info from. They're is always people within an organisation that think they can run the place better. Sometimes it's best to keep clear of them, they can make you look like a fool

So, sofar as I can see from ASIC, there's been no request to wind up Central Coast Mariners FC, so even if they were to roll it into Central Coast Mariners Foundation, you'd think any contracts not signed over, would still be active with the former foundation, unless released.
I hate to admit that it make me nervous, these rumours... But at the same time it just doesn't look quite like one'd expect at this point.

This seems like a massive deal, I wouldn't be surprised if its true, but I am extremely surprised that we found out about it by a sneaky few sentences on another forum, rather than an epic media storm.

I mean, the media around the mariners can sniff out when players arent being paid, when there are tensions between coaches and players and even when someone dresses inappropriately at a Mad Monday, but noone thought this would make for a good piece of "kick the mariners while they're down" reading?

I would like some more information on the implications of switching legal entities, is it honestly being suggested that by simply switching over we can nullify all peoples contracts? That seems like a really easy way to cull some deadwood to me...

Agreed. Considering how often the SMH seem to print or publish anti-Mariners rumours as soon as they get a wiff of them, I won't believe it until the FFA has put it to print (but even then they can't be trusted HA)

I think he's referring to a status on a particular admin's page (not me, never had admin), as opposed to a post by the YA page.

LOL. I am not Nathan Byrn, and I have a love for the Mariners infact I really really want them to do well. I was there on GF day screaming my lungs out when we Won. What I have a fundamental problem with is the way Mike Charlesworth has taken the club since taking ownership. I know people will say he has come in and "rescued us" but I am not sure that he is not driving us to a long slow death. I am passionate about my local club, about football, about the Central Coast and about the Mariners. I just think Mike Charlesworth is taking us in the wrong direction.

And today I find out he has just launched legal action against CCF. I was told that there has now been a meeting of all local clubs called for July and I assume this is going to be discussed. Is this the right way to engage and get everyone on board?

Care to elaborate?

Your being called out for exactly the same reasons Byrn & Mick no longer reside here.
Sometimes people aren't willing to accept stuff like this as fact very easily. Cough up or be prepared to be shouted down.

Not sure of the details just got told he has set the lawyers onto CCF. When I find out I will post on here. But I might not know anymore until after the clubs meeting in July.
