ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I normally agree with most things you post but have to wonder if you have been chuffing tonight?

A vastly superior player to Ando at this stage and Griff2 didn't even warrant being resigned. Meggsy is also superior to Siep by a large margin.
Some of you have short memories....last season, Beauchamp and TS were the best defensive pairing in the league.
Except in the GF! :)

the end of an important, valuable and worthy Mariners chapter. all the best Kwassie - thanks for everything, and especially THAT smurfs game
Without doubt one of my favourite players. His ability to be a genius one game and a clown the next was an endearing quality; he never ever stopped trying. That goal against the Jets to clinch the premiership; trying to head the ball with a bandaged headwound against the Smurfs in the epic 4-5; and for me, most of all, an incredible almost Man of the Match performance in the GF at Brisbane: his perfect cross for Matty Simon to miss a sitter; he made a goal; he scored a goal; he tried to chip the ball from the half way line; the Roar defenders could not get the ball off him. It was a legendary display.
I think he has done the right thing by retiring; two years struggle is too much to overcome. I am pleased he is still in employment with the Mariners. Good luck Kwasaldinho :overheadl:

Pretty sure he wasn't in the GF. He only played a few games this season as Spiranovic (going to Brazil) was favoured in front of him. However Wanderers lost absolutely nothing when he started and he was rock solid.
Didn't mean last GF, I meant the important one. :)

I've updated the first post with the news of Simon and kwasnaldo, currently looking something like this...

--------------------------- Duke/Simon----------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fitzy/Kim/Slater ------ Kim/Trifiro/Cernak ------ Duke/Fitzy
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
------ Caceres/Hutch/L Rose ------- Monty/Kalik/Curren ------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
J Rose/sim/Neill ---- Bosnar/seip ---- Anderson ---- Roux/Morton
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------- Reddy ----------------------------------

By my reckoning we're still a keeper, centre back, central striker and a winger short of a picnic

So, I take it that I've missed something and Matty has been re-signed... When was that announced? :)

That's about right - though I would put swap Tricky and Liam Rose.

Interesting that we still need strengthening in 3 or 4 positions with 23 already signed (including Wee-Mac). Mossy was quite clear in an interview that he wanted to strengthen both the defence (I suspect the CBs) and more particularly the strikers.

I can see Neill moving back to the NYL. He is now third choice at LB with no game time last year.
