ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Paull reminds me a bit of Kye Rowles. You could see he was a good defender, but prone to the odd mistake or brain explosion. But every year he seemed to make less and less mistakes as he learnt his craft. Triantis was a freak, so many times last year you’d forget he was so young because he was so composed, like he’d been a professional for years.

Hey now, he’s playing 4th Div in Uruguay these days
Something for Will to aim for then.

I think he has only just turned 18 and I just don't see how playing in the Northern Irish league is going to develop him or put him in the shop window more than staying at the Mariners and having a full NPL season and trying to crack the ALM team.

I assume most decent kids in NI are snapped up by English clubs before the turn 16 so there won't be much scouting of that league.

The league would be under constant scrutiny. Most of the bigger British clubs have a scouting presence in NI and there are local scouts who will let clubs know.
If he shines, someone will see it

Absolutely not.
I wondered if it was a build up of things, starting with this then missing a couple of penalties in the next few NPL games. Definitely not an issue on our side but wondered if he was in a bad head space.

Disappointed as I really rated him.
